| Are you the kind of person that likes fire? There is a book called Fahrenheit 451 that is all about fire and burning books. The author is Ray Bradbury. In the end of the book, all the books except for a couple are destroyed. If I was one of the people that were trying to save the books then I would save the Bible, my American history book, and the Cat in the Hat. The first book I would want to save is the bible. The bible explains about God and different religions. This book is important because it will show people in the future how important religion is, it will give the people something to believe in. The second book I would want to save is my American History book. The American history book has information about the first people and how laws and society itself came together. This book is important because it has the history of the United States and also events that happened around the world. This book would tell people how the country was formed and what it should be like. The third and final book I would save would have to be the Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss. This is just a fun book that has a cat that will not leave these two kids alone. I want to save this book because I believe that everybody should read this book at least once. Plus, it is a fun book to read so people in the future that read books can at least find one fun book to read. The three books I would save would be the bible, the American history book, and the Cat in the Hat. The bible and the American history book are important because they will explain about the history of the United States and about God and religions. They will give people something to believe in and the people will know the truth about the world. The cat in the hat, I thought would just be a fun book to read so that is why I picked it. I really hope the world does not end up like there’s, but if it does those are the books I want people in the future to read. They will have a better understanding of the world. |
