The view of the Bridge of Lions from the fort.
My mother walking along the fort.
Take note of the orange fence that blocks of a certain area because of renovations.
A white peacock. I'm not sure if it's an albino or not.
Same peacock. Just thought of letting you know that these birds are really LOUD! They sound like a whining cat.
The sign's pretty self explanatory. This site can be found at the end of the attraction, which is actually where a tribe of Indians lived when Ponce de Leon landed. In the background is the giant cross and then a crane that is at the fort. In the foreground you can see the plastic that covers up the digging.
The St. Augustine lighthouse - the tenth tallest lighthouse in the United States, 165 feet tall!
The view of the town at the top of the lighthouse.
The view of the sea.
What's so great about this picture? The view of the 219 steps you have to travel to get to the top.
This was taken from the bottom of the lighthouse.
The Giant Cross. I don't know why I'm so fascinated with this structure, there's not much about it that I know of, only that it was erected in 1965. Another significance is it is located near the site where the first ever mass in the United States was held in 1585.
Not such a great picture of my mom, but isn't she just a show off? :)
Some bird I met along my walk towards the cross. I think this is a beautiful picture.
The church where services were held. This building is actually the fourth reconstructed building of the missionary.
