WDCVC History

The Werribee and District Vehicle Club inc was born in June 1991 in a garage in Tarneit Road, Werribee.

It started with twenty founding members and has grown to over sixty-five, with many types of vehicles from classic, veteran and vintage. There would be no car the same in the club as every member has their own interest in certain makes and models from all Continents of the world, and in various states of restoration.

The aim of the club is to encourage the preservation, restoration and the use of collectable motor vehicles i.e. Veteran, Vintage, Classic and Historic over twenty-five years old, through meetings, motoring and social events. All of which are reported on in a monthly newsletter.    To become a member it is not necessary to own or be in the process of restoring on older vehicle but have an interest in older vehicles.   We have one run per month with the possibility of two or more, these runs are mostly around historical or places of interest in the western area. The club also takes special interest in attending local charities and organizations.  Many of our vehicles have taken part in various invitation rallies at other clubs with great success.
