Earning Tips
Make the most out of your job. Everything you do will help make each guest's stay magical. Hard work is often rewarded.
You should make enough per week to pay for your necessary bills. This doesn't include shopping for souvenirs.
Take your meal or a snack to work. Not all work locations are near a break room. Eating in one of the cast cafeterias daily can put a strain on your budget.
Work overtime when possible. It means more money!!!! Try to work in a different park or different location within your park.
Try to be cross-trained in more than one work area. It allows for more overtime opportunities as well as exposure to more of the business and better networking opportunities.
Follow work procedures carefully.
Don't miss work too often. If you do have to miss, be sure to call in using the correct procedure. Too many missed days can lead to reprimands, even termination.
Be ready to work early. Leave in plenty of time to get to your location, get changed into costume, and be ready to clock in at the correct time. You must be ready to work when your shift starts.
Clock in and out at the right times. Follow the correct procedure for your work location.
Take the bus that is provided to work, if it's convenient and doesn't require too much time. It's free and you won't have to pay for gas. Taking the bus is a great way to cut down on expenses.
