Living Tips
During your first week, get out and meet people in the complexes. Introduce yourself to neighbors in your building and those next door. Introduce yourself to the security guards when entering your complex.
Try to get along with your roommates. Even if they aren't your favorite people in the world, try to get along with them. Chances are, you will work at different parks in different roles, maybe even during different shifts. You won't spend as much time in your apartment with them as you do at work and with your other friends.
Sign up for a 2, 3, or 4 bedroom apartment. If you can't get along with the person in your bedroom, a larger apartment will allow you to swap among your apartment mates to someone you are more compatible with.
Take care of your apartment. Cleaning materials are available at the clubhouse when needed. Upon checkout, you will be billed for any damages, such as missing dishes, holes in the walls, etc.
Follow the rules and don't be stupid.
Don't be walking around the complexes obviously drunk. Try and keep parties contained to one apartment without it spilling into multiple apartments.
Get guests out of the complex by the time. My first roommate got terminated for this, not to mention security came to check on him at 4 in the morning, waking me up.
Don't try to get 21+ kids to buy you drinks, especially at Pleasure Island. Don't buy underage kids alcohol. Don't hold drinks for friends. I had friends terminated for this. Be very careful.
Don't try to have guests sneak over walls to enter the complex. Chances are you will be caught.
Go to complex activities. Chances are you will have a good time, meet some people, and maybe win something, even groceries.
