| Yané, at just fourteen years old is the youngest handmaiden. She remains on Naboo with Saché to organize the Rebellion, so she appears in a very few scenes. We tried to put them all here in this page. She was in Theed Palace when the communication cut began, and she was with the Queen leaving the Palace. She has a great memory and she's used as a living recorder and a great spy. She's a genius with computers and causes a lot of problems to Panaka. She saved Naboo pilots, resetting their deflector shields and plotting their ways to the main Trade Federation starship. She also appears in the final celebration, and probably she is present at Qui Gon's funeral. She didn't fight with Padmé, Sabé, Rabé and Eirtaé, but she was very hopeful during all the battle. She's easily recognisable because of her large lips and young face. She's also the handmaiden who cries while leaving the Queen at the beginning of TPM, not because she's afraid for herself, but because leaving Padmé, Sabé, Rabé and Eirtaé was just like leaving some sisters. She is one of the Five Knights Of Royalty, chosen for their ability, faith, and resemblance to the Queen. |
