Jacqueline Borde
(1637-1660 )
Jacqueline Borde (Desbordes) was born about 1637 in Nanterre, Paris, Ile De France, France; the daughter of Pierre Borde and Radegonde Valentin.  She arrived in the Quebec Colony as a Filles A Marier, contracted to be the bride of Claude Charland.  They were married January 08, 1652 in Montreal.
Claude was born about 1626 in St-Christophe, Châteauroux, Indre-et-Loire, France; the son of Jean Charland and Catherine Mabile.  He and Jacqueline would have three children before her death on April 19, 1660 in Ste-Famille.  Claude followed on January 22, 1705.
The Next Generation
Noel-Joseph Charland - Was born on November 10, 1652 in Sillery and died unknown in Ste-Famille.  He married Marie Turcotte and the couple had four children.

Infant Charland - Was born on February 18, 1655 and died at birth.

Denis-Hyacinthe Charland - Was born on January 31, 1656 in Sillery and died on February 25, 1703 in Ste-Famille.  He first married Marie-Anne Letournea, with whom he had five children.  After her death he married Marie Gauthier and they had six children.
