History/Profile:

Rooney: This is the man responsible for all this. Without him, there would be no Reverb, and Trendies would rule the world. Well, maybe not quite that, but there would be no Reverb. It was he that approached Rooney, Dal and Judge, and set it all off.

After the ill recieved gigs at the Square, Goon was doubtful about his future in the band. Although he had been its creator, and had raised its other members from musical ignorance, the students were surpassing the master. He decided it was time for him to leave, seeing everyone else progressing, whilst he was seemingly trapped in a rut.

So Goon left the band, three months before their biggest gig so far, and began a self imposed musical exile. Many a night he spent cooped up in his room, playing furiously. Eventually his patience ran out, and he asked the band to take him nack. They agreed, and Goon returned home as their rythm guitarist. Now, to let the man himself have a few(!!) words:

Well where do i start. Ive been into music since i can remember. The first band i ever got into was Nirvana. Then i fell in love with a bunch of scallys from manchester. Oasis where the first band i fell in love with, i think it was the good tunes and fuck off attitude that did it. Definitely maybe was the first album i worshipped and is still the best fucking album on the planet. Seeing how cool Noel Gallagher was made me take up guitar and write songs. That meant the birth of Reverb. I searched high and low for  members of the group. Each one had to fill certain criteria, firstly-they had to be friends, I could'nt be in a band with a bunch of strangers, going on the road and shit would have been a problem.
Secondly-they had to respect the fact i was the main songwriter and in charge. Thirdly-they had to sharre a love of indie/rock and roll as much as me and be willing to go all the way. First Ifound Rooney and bludgeoned him into singing my first attempts at songs (neon waterfall, if you've heard it you'll understand). We jammed and worked on songs for a while. Then came Larter, I always knew he was right, it was just a case of forcing him to join. Judge was next after I saved him from Garage music and restored his faith in proper music.
The rest you can read in the history. Then came the turning point in my involvement, i quit. After our last gig at the square i relised how bad the band was. I hated the sound, the stytle and the other members were pissing me off. These were the other reasons i quit. Then i was happy not being in a band, my musical influences widened to take in Linkin Park, Green Day, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach and Marilyn Manson. I wouldn't worry about that changing our sound though now i'm back i'm saving all that for my psychadelic goth side project 'Collosus Chaos'.
