The Angels Awards 2003

To celebrate the end of the most succesful season ever for the team,  we thought it only fitting to end the year with a celebration the only way we know how. Getting steamingly drunk and making arses out of ourselves in public. So off to Dundee we went, where some Angels went bowling, for the squad to congregate in a Chinese restaurant. After the meal and several bottles of wine, the voting took place for the first ever Angels awards, followed by speeches from retiring players from the middle of the famous huddle. After this, the prizegiving took place, a shot per award in Dundee Union's bop. From the results, Yarrow had to drink a shot of each Aftershock as well as Midori and Apple Sourz. For JP, the night was 'rounded' off by two miracles of geometry aka The Beasts that he pulled. Come the end, Jesper, Marrs and Yarrow all decided that a taxi was a wimp's way out and decided to take part in the Paula Radcliffe Half Challenge - the 13 mile trek back from Dundee, and reappeared in St Andrews about 7.30 in the morning. All in all, another succesful night for the Angels.
