| Laurence's Tips of the Week | |||||||||
| As many of you will know, I like to have the odd flutter. What better way to spend your student loan? And so, because I am generous to a fault, I have hijacked the Angels website to present to you my tips of the week. Naturally I can only provide footballing bets, as they say you should stick to what you know. For the more serious gamblers among you, have a word with Matt's Ball, a man who knows his horses (and he's not bad at predicting the outcome of GG racing either - just ask the Sugadaddy!). | |||||||||
| Before following any tips, please take note of the following general advice: 1) Don't bet more than you can afford to lose. 2) Only bet on what you know - make your own investigations into the tips of others AND ALWAYS CHECK TEAM NEWS! 3) Don't bet the 3rd XI match fees. 4) The more matches you put together (i.e. trebles, accumulators etc.) the more likely you are to lose. These bets rarely come in. Be safe and bet a higher amount on less matches. 5) There is no such thing as a banker - (Wolves 1 Man Utd 0 anyone?) 6) Don't let the Mrs know you lost a tenner on Carlisle away from home - she will not be impressed by your bravery. 7) Follow my tips at your own risk! 8) Roughly 48% of professional football matches are home wins (The figure is slightly higher in the Premier Leagues), with approximately 22% being away wins. 9) Do not bet the £100 you won yesterday - especially not if you're going to lose it all. And finally... 10) Enjoy gambling - it is a hobby, not a way of life! And so on to this week's tips: |
