The original Mr. Angels, Chris was the captain in season 2001/02. Though sidelined by a collarbone injury, Chris demonstrated his commitment to Angels by continuing to lead from the sidelines, with the now legendary chant of "Come on guys, they're SHIT!" usually when Angels were at least 3-0 down. His footballing abilities are restricted due to an unwillingness to head the ball and an alarming inability to kick it, however it is Chris who, with Marrs and Yarrow, helped foster the Angels drinking culture that was to flourish in 2003. Now in Liverpool, Chris managed only one appearance in 2003, but his legacy remains both on and off the park.
