A welcome addition to an ailing Angels defence, Jon's displays at the back contributed a lot to the rise of Angels in the second half of the season. His penchant for passing to Yarrow created some heartstopping moments, but his calm influence was a source of comfort to those who played in front of him. Off the field, the flamboyantly-dressed Jon indulged in a spot of birthday pole-dancing with a pool cue, and had an ill-advised encounter with "the Beast" on the end-of-season night out. With Jon's impressive form, the new captains will be hoping he reverses his decision to retire from Sunday League. |
