Sam's first appearance for the Angels was on the left wing, before the days of Jesper, and he capped it off by powering the ball into the net after a jinking run. Ending his first season with a goal per game average, he was an obvious candidate for the co-captaincy, having made the number 0 shirt his own.  Ever present on the field as well as off it, his 'jokes' leave a hell of a lot to be desired as do his flu ravaged corner taking abilities. In all fairness, his half way line goal will live long in the memories of all who saw it and his continued desire and commitment were up there with the best. Sadly retired from full time Angels duty, his future appearances will be restricted to a guest basis. Good luck Captain Marrs.
