We met on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2002, in Hermosa Beach. Adam was 44 and April was 42. Adam proposed at 9am on June 8, 2003 and we were on the very next flight out...Viva Las Vegas Baby! We were married at the Wee Kirk 'O the Heather wedding chapel, the oldest chapel in Vegas, at 7pm.

Our first child, Avari, was conceived two weeks later...a true miracle because we were given a 1% chance of conception...we couldn't have been more happy! We celebrated our new union with a more traditional (so to speak) wedding, which took place in L.A. on August 16, 2003.

Tragedy hit when we lost our little angel, Ava, in November. Needless to say, our lives have changed forever and we now look at life very differently.

In January 2004, Adam started Malovani Design. And, we FINALLY took our honeymoon (just in time for our 1-year anniversary) and went to St. Lucia.

In June 2005, we bought our new house in Redondo Beach and then adopted a dog. Here's Dakota!

In August 2006, a stray kitten adopted us (we think Pinto Bean may have sent her to us). Here's Mia!

On December 10th, we were at the doggy park in Brentwood where we met the folks from Boxer Rescue L.A. The cutest thing you've ever seen came out of her crate and the second Dakota layed eyes on her, he ran to her and began to kiss her face. We knew we had to bring her home. Here's Lucy!

On May 23, 2007, we learned we were pregnant! On June 8th (our 4th wedding anniversary), we saw & heard the heartbeat for the first time. On August 3rd, we learned that we were having a boy, and then April felt his first kick on August 31st! On January 11, 2008, our son, Arlo, made his grand entrance into this world...truly the happiest day of our lives!!!!!
