Defense Against the Dark Arts

In the years preceeding the disappearance of Lord Voldemort... yes I know Mr. Weasley. I said VOLDEMORT... and I encourage all of you to do the same.
Now, our first lesson will be on the Muggle killings of the Dark Times... this will strech over a period of two class times. The first part is entitled:

FUN and BOREDOM
It was common play for a Dark Wizard or Death Eater to engage in Muggle killings. The first and foremost reason for killing Muggles was for fun. Dark wizards enjoyed killing muggles for no reason.
The record Muggles dead goes to Selg Gum. He would go out every night and kill atleast one muggle. He did this for three years before being caught by Auror Alastor Moody. The final total of muggles killed came to 1157 dead and 2304 tortured. This may seem a lot but he did not stary in Britain. He infact travelled the world to kill muggles.
At his trail he was asked why he killed all those Muggles. Gum said, and I quote, "For Fun... For shear fun... I enjoyed it most definatley and if I were to escape... I'd kill one the moment I was free." And a later time he also added, "I did it all for my master... all for my master... but also for fun..."
Gum was sentenced to life in Azkaban and the Dementor's Kiss. The Dementor's Kiss was revocked before it was preformed on grounds that he was mentally ill. Gum now recently resides in St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Ailments.

But will he stay there class? With this recent uprising of Lord Voldemort... how long until Muggle killings once again become common play?

Quiz:
Who killed the most Muggles?
Who caught him?
What too reasons did he kill Muggles?
How many Muggles did he kill?
How many Muggles did he torture?
What was his sentence?
Why was it revocked?
Where is he know?
