Children of the World We are the children of the world, We are wise in what we know. We are the children of the world, And that is what we must show. They can hurt us, they can kill us, But we will never die. They can destroy us, they can beat us, But we will never cry. We are the children of the world, Her heart beats strong in everyone. We are the children of the world, Her will, through us, will be done. They can shoot us, they can stab us, But we will not be taken. They never will forget us, Even though the world is shaken. We are the children of the world, Our souls are strong with our fate. We are the children of the world, We will survive through the hate. They can whip us, they can chain us, But our spirits cannot be broken. They can never come between us, And the rest will not be spoken. We are the children of the world, We are strong and we are brave.
