Deep in the ocean
Where mermaids do dwell,
Playing sweet music
On bright, shining shells,
Is the heart of the ocean,
The pulse of the Earth,
The magic of life
That is ours from our birth.
It nourishes life,
It lets us create
Beautiful things
That help us relate
To the wonders of nature
To which we belong,
The beauty we honor
With dance and with song.
The heart of the ocean
Takes away strife,
Paving the way
To a shiny new life.
So deep in the ocean,
Where mermaids do dwell,
Lives the heart of the ocean,
Weaving its spell.
