Sadder Things 2 After All The Young give up so easily The Old...they cling tenaciously Is it experience I wonder that teaches us Life is worth living...despite the fuss It still is worth it--after all So beautifully worth it After all. Some don't believe there is a way To continue on when life turns gray That so much joy is yet to be If only they could learn to see It's still worth it after all So joyously worth it After all. But some it seems cannot see past A love affair that's breathed its last When phone calls do not come from him Then life turns dark, and gray, and grim And they feel that life's not worth it, after all It seems it's just not worth it After all. So those of us who are left behind Struggle on through the tears that blind "Was there something," we wonder, "We could have said That would have made her choose life instead? Convinced her that life was worth it, after all? That life is really worth it, After all."
