"This Certifies that your X-Files Barbie and Ken dolls were created through the collaborative efforts of designers and artists at Mattel to capture the excitement and intrigue of the X-Files." That's exactly what it says on a certificate of authenticity you get when you buy Barbie doll & Ken doll the X-Files gift set. If you haven't seen them let me tell you, they aren't intriguing or exciting. Although they do come with some nifty accessories, including FBI name tags, badges, stands and Barbie Scully has a golden cross around her neck.

Barbie Scully: Flaws:

Hair is stiff and unbrushable
White earrings and matching ring
Unmoveable limbs
Furry, unfitting clothing
Heels, that fall off if not tied on
Legs slide off stand
DOESN'T LOOK LIKE SCULLY

Barbie Scully: Perfections:

You can't brush her hair or pose her like you can Ken Mulder, but Barbie Scully is still worth while. You can make her pull her FBI badge and even dance with Ken Mulder.

Stands: Barbie Scully:

Just like Ken Mulder, Barbie Scully doesn't sit properly on her stand either. But unfortunately there is really nothing you can do. She does fit into the stand, but she leans forward. It looks as if she were going to fall flat on her face. But as with Ken Mulder, if Barbie Scully stood perfectly straight she wouldn't look as interesting.

Ken Mulder: Flaws:

Hair is plastic and molded to head
Eyes have unreal bluish tint
Limbs are a little too flexible in parts
Tie is too long and is unrealistically colored
Shoes, that fall off if not tied on
Wobbles and falls off of stand
DOESN'T LOOK LIKE MULDER

Ken Mulder: Perfections:

Since Ken Mulder is so flexible you can pose him in a variety of positions. Including, making him beg on his knees and even purpose to Scully. Although Scully had the Ku fu action seen in Kill Switch you can make Mulder do similar moves.

Stands: Ken Mulder:

Ken Mulder doesn't sit right on his stand, he looks lopsided. But with some creative posing it will work. One pose I've found that works well is placing his hands in his pockets, right leg bent at about a 45 degree angle and left leg bent at about a 10 degree angle. He stands straighter this way and it makes him look more interesting.
