XMLengine is a powerful and versatile middle ware that shreds data from XML documents into relational database. The behavior of the XMLengine is 100% controlled by 2 configuration files. User can change the behavior of the XMLengine by changing config information, without recompilation and redeployment. The data hierarchy and the stored procedure definitions are represented in 2 config files. Using XPath, each node in xml is mapped to the hierarchy and stored procedure parameters in the config file.
