Pi Day 2001

These are the photos for our first Pi chain made for Pi Day 2001 (3.14). Teachers of Pre-schoolers through University students participated in the project by having students build sections of the chain. The final length was 19,050 digits, approximately one mile in length. It was on display at Bellis Fair Mall for the 14th and 15th of March.

Special thanks to APPLIED DIGITAL IMAGING for providing the paper strips, and to BELLIS FAIR MALL for providing a display area.
