Thomas Webb SR. who was born in 1754 in Southhold, Long Island, New York.
Thomas Webb, JR. was born there as well in 1784. |

John Webb was the oldest child of seven children to Thomas Webb Jr. and Rebecca Clark.
BORN; 8-7-1805 in Erie County, New York. |

| DEATH; 11-26-1862 in the town of Lima, Rock County, WI. I cannot locate his death plot in Lima Township. He may have been buried on his farm. |

| LAND; Per the Land records, John Webb was the first purchaser of the land that he owned from the United States. Please refer to the plat map of Rock County. He bought the 40 acre sections #39, 38 and 43 on 24 Dec. 1840. The sections #37 and 44 were purchased 25 Aug 1846. SEctions #52 and 53 were purchased 02 Feb 1850. in 1863, John owned 320 acres of land in Rock County. Some of the land was sold in 1865 to Roley Godfrey for $3133 where the names of Alvira, John, Susan M. and Sarah appeared on the warranty deed. |
