| On December 21, 2003 I had the opportunity to play my first appearance other than Jan's front porch (HA!) Beth took this photo of me just prior to leaving for Westview Baptist Church in Slaton, Texas. Thanks to the magic of Photoshop here is an artists rendition of all the nervous anticipation of the event. What does it mean when the Pastor promises you after service that the pianist will be back next week? Really though,it went well that morning, but there is nothing like the first time!
