Poison of Fame

He started on the rooftops,
Aloof to learn his skill,
Bruising fingers, crafting air,
Until the day he will...

Play before the masses,
Crowds adoring follow,
Never alone, just wanting,
Old rooftops still below.

One may wish his name be,
Lighted, honored and known,
Yet initial inspiration,
Is where joy is ever prone.

So do not think me jealous
For I can truely say
I'll be playing on the rooftops
Till no longer I can play.
