| April 3 2002 Dear Diary, I just viewed the results of my first Feis, and I didn't place :( I guess I thought to easy about it and I think that I need to train much more and much harder. After all, I want to end up in the Bannon Academy. I'll do my very best in the next feis, the April Feis, and try to move into Novice. I just hold on to the thought that Michael Flatley didn't become World Champion the first time he participated in the World's. Anyways, I must say that I liked my first Feis after all, and that everyone was very kind to me. ~Sharon |
| June 21 2002 Dear Diary, Last month something terrible happened...I twisted my ankle and I couldn't participate in the Feis... I was just so disappointed. I'm glad I can participate in this Month's Feis. My ankle sometimes feels a bit strange, but I'm sure that'll be away soon. Mom and dad felt sorry and they bought me a beginner cd! Now I can practise at home, I'm sooooooooooo happy! Almost forgot to tell I'm in a different school now... I decided to leave McWebfeis and start all over again at a brand new school: NiWebfeis. Class is really fun there and I really enjoy going there. I hope I'll move up to Novice soon. Beginner just sounds so "not good". Anyways, that's it for now and if something happens, I'll tell you ofcourse. ~Sharon |

| July 1 2002 Dear Diary, Something reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelly strange happened... Today I checked my feis results and found out I was first! I was reelly surprised because I had this injury and wasn't completely recovered yet. When I looked further I knew why I became first. I WAS THE ONLY DANCER WHO ENTERED THE FEIS IN THE BEGINNERS CATEGORY... This is sad because I can't move up to novice now...:( So, next feis I must do my very best and try to move up! I'm getting sick of being a beginner... ~Sharon P.S. Never reelly told you why I left McWebfeis...Well, I liked it there, and the people there were nice, but I wanted to try something new, I like to explore new things. I now live in a apartment in Capitol City (I'm 16 , almost 17, so my parents would let me live alone if I wanted to) together with my boyfriend (he is 21). NiWebfeis isn't too far away from McWebfeis, so I can visit my parents whenever I want to. My boyfriend is reeeeeeeeeeeeelly sweet, he bought me some coloured socks in my favorite colour: purple! Just watch my pic on the index page! I'm still very happy with the cd mom and dad bought me, it reelly helped! I hope I'll be a dancer in an Irish Dance show someday! Later that evening... I never told you the WHOLE story about Moi, the dancer. Well, I was born in the Netherlands, so that's faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar away from where I'm now. I liked it there, there was only one little problem...There weren't any Irish Dance Schools were I lived... I already did ballet since I was five, and started with jazzdance later, but when I saw Lord of the Dance, I just HAD to find an Irish Dance School and take lessons! I was just sooooooooo glad when mom and dad decided to move to Inis! Mom and dad had to go there for their work, so we moved. We lived in McWebfeis first. I liked the school and other students, but I was eager to explore Capitol City, I heard so many things about it, everyone told me it was great! (I'm not saying that my old school isn't good, I just wanted to EX:PLORE you see...) Anywayzzz, I lived for about three months in McWebfeis, when I told mom and dad that I wanted to go to NiWebfeis. We just moved, so they didn't want to move again so soon...So I asked them if I could go to NiWebfeis together with my boyfriend, Stephen. (I met him in Holland and he moved to, his dad and my dad work together, so I was very happy that I could live verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry close to him :)) First they didn't want me to go away (school and everything...) but since we're having vacation, they considered it was okay. Lucky me! When school starts again, they want me to move back to McWebfeis, but I'm NOT GOING BACK! I like it here and I'm starting to make new friends, so... Next day ...( July 2 2002) Sometimes I just HATE my computer! I was just typing, and WHAM! Everything was gone... But were was I, I remember, my story... Okay, so I'm living in Capitol City right now and like it here a lot. My parents want me to come back after summer vacation, but I won't move again. They don't know this yet (if I told 'em this, they wouldn't have let me go), but they'll find out soon. I'm reelly happy that summer vacation FINALLY started... In the evenings, I practise and practise for my Monthly Feis. The rest of the day I work at a book shop. It's a nice job and the people are nice. I bought "The Lord of the Rings" there today. I saw the movie (The Fellowship of the Ring) and just loved it! I'm eager to find out how the story ends! Something else... Okay, I'm reeeeeeeeeeeeeelly ashamed of my after feis pic...My hair is a mess on the pic! I just placed some pics on the site, I just hope you like them. The link is on the homepage. | September 23 2002 Dear Diary, First of all sorry for not writing so long... But something really cool happened! The Webfeis section of Diochra.com has a completely new lay-out, and our school has a new supervisor, Laura. AND I FINALLY MOVED UP TO NOVICE! I won first in the August Feis! Wowy! I also own a shop now, "Sharon's Designs". I was just practising for the September Feis, so I'll quit now! ~Sharon |
