| march 16; @ the georgia street house (last hoorah/eviction party - Mapee's 25th birthday) with Black Rice, 3 inches of blood, Hightower from S.F. Holy fuck! this was the craziest party I've ever heard of or been to.- Let alone held! The bands were tight. There was 5 kegs, we had somewhat of a skate park set up in the living room. Playing was kind of shitty because we couldn't get through 1 verse without people going nuts and throwing us into the drums. Halfway through 3" of Blood, the house became swarmed with about 30 cops. They were pepper spraying and shit kicking all of our freinds. It was a truly horrible sign of the tact used by the Vancouver Police Department. A classic example of police brutality. The only thing they didn't realise is that they beat up a party full of art students loaded with cameras. We'll soon have photos from that night up on this pathetic excuse for a site. |

| Both bands got denied at the border. We played anyways - peeps were stoked, i hand planted my bass, and jonny ollid off the stage. |
