Newport/Corona del Mar
Newport has many beaches, as well as Lookout Point and Inspiration Point, which are down the street from each other and are perfect locations for a small wedding. The parks are on a bluff overlooking the ocean and the end of Newport Harbor. No permits are required nor granted but the city allows small weddings of no more than 20 guests without setups (no tents, chairs, music, etc.). Call (949) 644-3151.
Laguna Beach
Get married in pristine nature at Crystal Cove State Park overlooking the ocean or have your ceremony directly on the beach. The park has dramatically increased prices to $250+ per hour but it is a beautiful setting. Call (949) 494-3539.
In the town of Laguna Beach, Crescent Bay Park provides a beautiful setting overlooking the ocean. The permit is $225 and no more than 40 guests allowed. Also, the Heisler Park Gazebo is perfect for an intimate gathering. Permit is $175. The Main Beach downtown is often crowded with sunbathers however it can accommodate up to 100 guests. The permit is $175.

Another great beach in south Laguna is Salt Creek State Beach. Permit prices vary depending on the size of the wedding with a $200 minimum.
