WELCOME TO DONNIE’S

WEDGE
VOLANTE
TRIBUTE PAGE 2000!!!

A wedge volante tribute page by Donnie Barton-Brigs Almeda.

THE LEGACEY
Wedge Volante was a quiet man of few words but many, many sounds. Wedge was the prolific composer, performer, and producer that created an assrocking total of 86 full length LPs, 254 EPs, and more than 800 singles, remixes, and one-off projects under a whole bunch of fake names.

I was fifteen when I saw on the MTV Wedges first video for Free-Verse Reverb Pervert off of his 29th album Experimental Outhouse. The dry ice and upturned collars forever changed my love of music, video, and music videos forever. I was heavy into Wedge from that day forward, and this is my internet tribute site.

TURNING UP THE "HEAT"

Wedges final project before passing away was the score for a film called THE HEAT OF THE NINJA, to star American action icon Michael Dudikoff, and to be directed by master of action films C.V. “Charles” Chu. Wedge died and the movie never came out, but I’ve seen screeners of various quality available at Wedge conventions—BUYER BE WARE! Here are some posters for the never-released film for you.
