'Guard Dogs' ?!?!?
This is Duke, a 1998 model  Bassett Hound.  Duke came here inthe summer 2001 to await a new home.  November of that yearhis big adventure ha begun and he was placed in a Kansas forever home.
Nobody knows where 'Boomer' came from.  She was advertised in the paper as being 'pound-bound' if her owner didn't turn up by a specified date.  The date came and went and she lived with us until her death in 2003.  She's truly missed.
And of course 'Carly, the wonder dog!'  She loves to go for rides.  Carly came to me as a birthday gift (not to be recommended) in 1994 as a 7 month old pup.  She was advertised as a purebred Springer but, as you can see, looks more like 1/2 Brittany as well.  She had her nails 'done' shortly after this photo was taken.
Sweet Pea at 12 weeks.
Gone but not forgotten.
Becca's Sweet Clementine

This is Clementine.  AKC black and tan Bloodhound.  She was born on July 13, 2003.  This is the day she came home
This Clemmie at six months
Clementine died at Christmastime 2004.  She died at the vet clinic after a routine spay surgery.  She bled to death.  I was charged full price for the spay and also for the necropsy and cremation (which I did NOT request.)
This is Buttercup.  She was born May 3, 2005.  More details to come.
