The Authority of the Son. (John 5:19-29)

"I tell you the truth: the Son can do nothing on His own; He does only what He sees His Father doing. What the Father does, the Son also does.

Jesus spoke as a human Jesus, Son of Mary. As a mere human being although born of a perfect, spotless 'woman', He continued to encounter temptations all His life. Without God in Him, He could have fallen into sin, but God was with Him. Jesus as mere human being, could not have perform wonders and miracles, what more the resurrection of His own death and forgiveness of sin. It was God inside of Him, who through His participation of freewill yielded to God. The human Jesus was anointed by God, as God's Instrument to manifest the presence of God in our time and space. The Sacramental chosen by God. For all sacramental graces and blessing would derive from this source, Christ Himself, as storage of blessing for God's people.

The mention of the words 'Father', which always occur in the Gospels, is the way Jesus who was the Son of Man, chosen by God, and the only one on earth worthy to call God, the Father. We ought not to be confused, Jesus is God, in His Divine Nature. The Father is the unseen God, in heaven above or on earth. The Holy Spirit, is also the physically and humanly unseen power and force, which depended on the Word of the Son and Father, to move, in order to fulfill their will. The will of the Father and the Son are, but one, common and same will. When Jesus called God the 'Father', it was because He acknowledged Himself as taking the place of the Son of Man, born of Mary, in His human form and nature. As God, He is, was and will for all eternity, be One Omi-potent and powerful God, who created everything seen and unseen. Nothing was ever created without His knowledge, command and will. The Incarnation of Jesus into time, space, took the figure, flesh, nature and spirit of a human being, was God Himself coming into the world, to be their servants, Lord and master, of all that He created. He came in order to redirect the path of Man, back to Himself, because of the failure of Adam and Eve to fulfill God's will in the original plan. Parents are at the service of their children, of which was God's master-plan, which He Himself had expressed and fulfilled to its perfection and holiness. Shepherds of God are supposed to pass on what Jesus Himself, through the bountiful generosity of God, had given them. No one on earth can be worthy to be the shepherds of God's children, through our weak and sinful human natures. We in fact had nothing worthwhile to give, but our tainted and sinful lives, together with its teachings and manifestations. God Himself would make us channels through our free opening of hearts, in order to bless and teach His own Children.

No lambs and sheep should be complacent of being in that state for eternity. As we grow, through the graces of the sacraments that we receive, we need to be shepherds and administered to others, who were little and young. Vulnerable to all forms of attack, in different directions and ways, by the Devils and his agents on earth and the world below.

'The Son can do nothing on His own!'. What is the meaning of nothing? Did Jesus mean, He cannot do anything that human being are doing without God? As a human being, Jesus had all that made up a perfect human being. Jesus was not talking about human expression, but divine. Without the Divine Nature in Him, He could have failed God. He might have succumbed to the Devil's temptations. Mary had lived a life pleasing and depended on God, to mold and shape her into the first saint, that received a glorified body. A privilege and honor given by God, for her obedience and successfully participated fully in the plan and will of God. Without the 'Sun', all the 'moons' are, but merely ugly useless objects that filled the space. This includes all the angels too. Jesus can never served God's purpose, without God empowering Him to the fullness.

'He does only what He sees His Father doing!'. God the Father, or God the Son, did not made human Jesus mere robot or object, but God gave Him full respect and dignity to allow Him to make His personal choice. His human nature, still had to wonder, marvel and ponder on the God that dwelled in Him. His humanity and spirit, gave praises and glory to God. His human nature had to be trained through life experiences to fully worship God, in all areas of His life. He had to be continuously enlightened by God's wisdom, knowledge and understanding. He had to learn to accommodate the presence of God in His life. God wanted to transform human Jesus into His own Temple, but He had to freely allow God to do so. God would never force on human Jesus to do His will, but He naturally chose to do so. God would not force human Jesus to be the victim, for the sacrifice of our sin and sins, but He freely chose to do so, out of His love for mankind.

He was conceived by the Power of the Holy Spirit. God became man and dwell in the human flesh of Jesus Christ, through Mary's free choice. She too was not forced to participate, but God gently knock on the door of her heart, throughout her life, of which she had long fell in love with her God. She would never upset or disappoint God. She lived as a pilgrim on earth, await for the days God would anoint her for a special mission, of which she might not have known fully, until God, through the Angel Gabriel revealed to her. The Angel of the Lord, came to her, and she was quick to felt the Spirit of God that accompany the Angel. She gave a positive and humble response, of a mission she could not personally accomplish. She knew fully well that if God called and anointed her for that special mission, God Himself would see that she would be able to fulfill the great task and vocation.

The merger of the ovary with the Spirit of God, brought about a Divine and Human life. This child Jesus shall be perfectly human and so too perfectly Divine.

The Spirit of the Lord continues to dwell in Him, with Him and overshadowing Him all His life on earth. During the first part of His life, of which He had not receive the Divine consecration, to start His public ministry, He lived a normal human life, deeply in love with God, that dwelled in His heart. In the heart of man, is the channel, whereby heaven is within our reach. Heaven on earth, is experience by the hearts of God's chosen people.

After the baptism of water, by John the Baptist, Jesus rose and the Holy Spirit, in the form of a dove, descended on Him. God spoke through the cloud, as the voice of the Father. From that day forth, the Holy Spirit, together with God's mission, would empower Jesus, to fulfill God's Will for man, through freely allowing Himself to be submerge into the water of Jordan River. Through Baptism all Children of God, need to live a spirit filled and converted life, with God's mission at heart.

For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all that He Himself is doing.

For God, that was fully in His human body and nature, consecrated the Son of Man, to be the Messiah and Savior of the world. God's plan was perfect. Once Adam and Eve, in their weaknesses failed God and stumbled on God's perfect plan. With this witness of the failure of the first plan, mankind now needs to embrace God, as Master and Lord of their lives. Mankind needs to allow God to overpower the weak and sinful human spirits, letting God's Spirit every right to penetrate all the concealed, hidden, secluded, secret and mysteries of our lives. Jesus had yielded to God's Spirit, in the same physical body of His. Inside his whole being were the empowerment, not only dwelling, but human Jesus had fully allowed the enthronement of God into His lives. By this complete obedient of His human nature and spirits in Him, He was indeed pleasing towards God.

'For the Father loves the Son'. For God loves the two natures of Jesus. Even though Jesus arrived into time and space, to be one with His fallen brothers and sisters on earth, He was never separated from God. The oneness and unity cannot be broken, but ours were broken, through living our lives veiled by sins. But Jesus would struggle to resist all temptations, which would lead Him to be veiled from God. This human Jesus was deeply in love with God and would not allow any obstacles to His intimate relationship.

Although Jesus considered Himself to be the Servant of God, at the service of His brethren on earth, but God never treated Him as one. For a master will not reveal his secret to a servant. God revealed the depth of His mission and plan to this human Jesus, by dwelling inside of Him, through His Spirit, teaching Him all Truth about God.

He will show Him even greater things to do than this, and you will all be amazed. Just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, in the same way the Son gives life to those he wants to.

With this perfect trust and obedient to God's will and plan, God will glorified His human body, so that it shall reign with God in heaven. Jesus human body, together with its human nature, will and spirit, was engulfed into the Triune God. Jesus human glorified body was transformed and glorified to reign with God. The whole world since creation, had never witness the awesome power of God to rise a dead man to life, what more to rise Jesus' human body, to immortality to reign with God. This was the amazing manifestation of the power and love of God, who showed us the reward of complete obedient, in Jesus Christ, His only Begotten Son. God could easily write off the human race and rewrite another, by bringing about the extinct of one and the creation of the new and better one, but that was not God's plan and way. He had a perfect plan to manifest His depth of love for all His creatures on earth, including all that was in the world. Through Jesus Christ, God is going to restore life to all His lifeless creatures, living in sin and shame. God is going to allow man to chose, to be clothed in dirty rugs or the wedding gowns, offered by Jesus Christ, the Groom of the world. The wedding gowns, are God's holiness, perfection and power. God wanted to endow man with His life, perfection and consecrates them to be His Instruments for His purpose for man and the whole world. Through this obedient and participation of our freewill to love and serve Him, our lives shall be merged together through Jesus to be one with God. Human Jesus was the door to the Divine God, that was in Him. Only through Jesus, who had loved and died for us, God made Him worthy to be the Son of Man. The first to be endowed with this special title, which should had been given to our first parents, Adam and Eve, but they had not fulfilled their roles.

Through our unity with Jesus Christ, who dwelled in our hearts and lives, shall our souls be enriched with true life. A supreme and Divine Life of God, shall nourish and transform our sinful human bodies, natures and spirits, into the likeness of Christ. As members of His Mystical Body, we shall be protected, shielded, guided and nourished with His Spirit and Life. God shall dwells in the hearts of man, in order that through this marvelous and perfect plan of God, the 'Sun' shall shine in us, through us and lit up our dead and dark lives. Through the presence and our unity with the Spirit of God, who had raised Jesus from the death, will also one day raised our human bodies from the death, to be with Him for all eternity. The first perfect human body from the earth, who was the first sign of His promised fulfilled was His blessed mother, who was brought up to heaven, body, soul and human spirits. A greatest honor that God, gave to His mother. The deepest human love and filial relationship, that Jesus hardly emphasized, but it was craved deep in His heart, that shall never be erased from His human life. God shall never desert her to decay in a lonely grave, but out of great love for His beloved handmaid, God rewarded her to be eternally one with her Son, Jesus Christ. Her love for her dearest Son, Jesus Christ had never change, on earth and in heaven. Her earthly mission to be the mother of human Jesus had been accomplished with excellence and perfection. Her spirit, was always one with Jesus, to see that her Son would accomplished, God's mission for Him. After conquering time and space, her heart, soul and mind was always focus on serving God and all His wills and plans.

After His Humanity and Divinity, matured into One single Life and Will, God honored Him with the greatest reward. That is to reign with the triune Godhead. God gives Him the fullness of authority and power over the whole human race. God shares His role as life-giver, with Jesus Christ, in His glorified human person. He was given the fullness of authority to forgive the state of Sin (Original Sin) and sins, committed against God.

Nor does the Father Himself judge anyone. He has given His Son the full right to judge, so that all will honor the Son in the same way as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

God had chosen Jesus Christ to be the Lord and Savior of all human race, of which He was one among them. After going through the toil of human life, living among sinful Man, of which He was the first to have triumphed and won Himself eternal life, in union with God. He was also told not to eat the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden, of which Adam and Eve had failed to obey. Jesus resisted the Devil and his evil fruits. The first temptation was; 'If you are the Son of God, change this stone into bread, and to the anger of the Devil, Jesus answered; "Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every Word that come from the mouth of God!". The second temptation was, 'If you are the Son of God, jump down from here, for God will send His angels, to shield you from hurting yourself'. Jesus answers again greatly anger the Devil. He answered; "You shall not put the Lord, Your God to the test!". The final great temptation was, 'If you only worship me, and the world shall be yours!'. Jesus responded; "You shall worship the Lord, Your God!". Jesus was not trying to convert the Devil, nor to forgive him, but His responses to the temptations of the Devil were spoken on behalf of us. For He is the representative of the New Adam, the giver of the Living Spirit of God and Life. The 'You' in all His responses were, all human race, chosen by God, destined to be His. Jesus taught us the ways and means to overcome and overpowered the Devil and his temptations. Jesus learned through His suffering to be humble. He grew in body, wisdom and virtue. Jesus Christ with His two natures, learned to live in harmony, co-operation, peace and love. The God in human Jesus trained and provided him, with every means and ways to overcome, his human weaknesses, if any. His human body, soul and spirit, yielded to God, within Him. God completed, the purification of Jesus to His own Likeness, which led to His death on the cross, God glorified, His human body, soul and spirit. God's Spirit, penetrated fully into every areas in His Life. He became the Temple of God, filled and engulfed in the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Inside His Heart, was, is and will always be, the supreme Throne of God. When we partake in consuming His Body, in the Holy Eucharist, we became part of His Life and members of His Body and the worshipper in the Temple of God. Those who are cells and parts of Jesus' Body were showered with the same blessing, that God reserved for Christ and all His disciples. Just like the cells in a human body was nourished, by the food taken through the human mouth, assimilated into absorbable nutrients to nourish the whole body, so too our spiritual lives were nourished by the Spirit of God, passing to us through His various gifts and graces.

After the victory of Jesus over the sole obstacles of our union with God, that is the Devil and sin, Jesus was honored with the role of Judge for mankind. He had won the title through His humility and complete submission to the Will of God, the Father. Yet He would not be too hasty to judge His brethren. He was merciful, compassionate and gentle to the 'young children', who are learning how to 'walk'.

God made glorified human Jesus the 'door', into the Kingdom of heaven. God made Him the gate-keeper and co-owner of heaven. He was the holder of the 'key' into the Kingdom of heaven. He was the Light of the whole world. He was the redeemer and Savior of human race. He was the victim, of the sacrifice to make us right with God. For because of sin, we fall short of the glory of God. Jesus restored and reconciled us with God. Through the chosen people of God, on earth and under purification in the state of purgatory, joining our hands with Jesus, we are therefore joined with God, through Jesus complete oneness with God.

Whoever Jesus counted as worthy of His death, God will not ever reject. God the Father, put His whole-hearted trust in the capability of His Son, Jesus Christ to salvaged the whole human race, if possible. It is always possible with God, but only through individual submission of our freewill back to God, will salvation be completed in each of us.

Whoever rejects His Son Jesus Christ, God too will reject him/her. This does not mean that all followers of other religions, would destine to be perished. Yet the only entrance into heaven is through the door, Jesus Christ. Through the sole gate-keeper, Jesus Himself, who guards over the door of heaven. Jesus the co-owner of heaven, would not permit any sinners and those anti-Christ to partake in the blessing, set aside for God's Children.

Modification of saints do not come to a complete halt, when a person's body corrupted and returned to the ground, but continues on till a person's wish of complete union with God is accomplished. The whole process of purification and sanctification, lies, in the power of Jesus' Blood and Spirit. Only when Truth is finally revealed and accomplished, souls of human being would not be completely free, irrespective of whichever channels, God is introduced to us. If God was introduced to us through other channels, beside that of Christ, the final outcome; all groups must come to the full knowledge of Jesus as the Truth, Way and the Life giver. No sins can be forgiven, unless it was the will and work of Christ, for God had entrusted the role of redemption and salvation to the hand, authority and power of Christ Jesus.

Praise the Lord. Amen.
