It comes in no definite reason as far as physical is concern or place. It can happen while driving, eating, sleeping, playing, working, resting, talking to others, praying, etc.

There is no special specific formula, etc for this to happen. It just struck and the Holy Spirit was poured out to participate in that person's human life for the purpose of sanctification and empowerment so as to enable people to live a sanctified life, in knowledge and understanding that they shall be pleasing before the sight of God.

Holy lives mean putting God above all other things. 'Seek first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness and all shall be given to us'.

But even then, we still have to experience the hardship of any ordinary life. We still get sick, suffer, get humiliated, etc, but we shall bear it patiently for the sake of God. Jesus had to experience life in an ordinary way too, even though He is the Son of God.

He had to painfully abide by the rules and regulations set up by His earthly parents. He had to do work, see people suffer and die.

Those who were baptized by the Holy Spirit would be treated more harshly, less mercy be shown to them, because they refused to accept the value of this world. They lived like 'Children called out of this world', consecrated as instrument of God. Set apart from the world for His purpose and glorification.

Even though the world treats them this way, still they cannot cry or shout at the world, but they secretly cry out to God who would console and comfort them.

They may be given spiritual gifts of different functions and roles which are for the good of the Kingdom of God on earth.

These gifts are temporary because they are meant for this worldly use only. But after this earthly life is over they would fully possess the perfect gift of love.

Love is eternal but all other gifts are temporary, because by then all our eyes would be open to face God. Faith is not even needed nor the other gifts, because all can then see, hear, touch, reach God. They would all have full knowledge of how to love, understand God and the meaning of His Divine love.

God would reveal His power and authority. He would share His power with all Children of His.

Therefore earthly spiritual gifts, open up the curtain that separate physical from spiritual and vice versa.

It must be use with great humility and of service to the Kingdom of God on earth. Not for selfish purpose of boasting before others. Pride destroys everything that God tries to build. God tries to build in each one of us a heart that is His, in Jesus Christ as Son of Man in contrast to the weak and prideful heart of our first parents.

Snatching the glory meant for God for ourselves is evil and a great condemnation against our souls.

All must give glory, honor and praise to God in perfect worship.

On earth, we are all sailing in a temporary small boat, getting ready to depart from it to enter into a huge ship.

The spiritual gifts that we have are just like a temporary small boat and we shall experience the perfect gifts of God, when we enter heaven. The huge ship is capable of carrying all children of God, yet sail swiftly in God's glory and splendor.
