Errand for God

We're on an errand for God.

We're heading toward Christ's destination.

We're reaching toward, fulfilling His will.

But! Many of us are heading toward, fulfilling our own will.

Going our own destination.

We're on an errand for our family, ourselves, not God.

But! We'll only serve God's purpose, if it does not require us to sacrifice.

We would willingly do God's work, if it is a matter of convenience.

As we're heading toward achieving our goals, not God's;

How can this be pleasing towards God?

How can we ever deserve to receive our reward, if we're only concern about participating in God's creation, which is the continuation of His physical works on earth only?

We ought to be fulfilling Christ's purpose for us, by continuing His mission, after He had died, resurrected and returned to heaven.

He sent forth His Spirit, so that each of us, called disciples of His, could fulfill, His unfulfilled tasks of the salvation of the souls.

How can we expect to receive our reward, when we did not participate in Christ's Divine mission?

How can we expect to reap the harvest of which we did not plant?

How can we expect to share in the price, victory paid for each one of us, when we did not struggle, in union with Christ in spiritual warfare?

Continue with both tasks of co-operating with God to accomplish what He wished to accomplish after the sixth day of creation!

But! Emphasize on the crucial and essential task of participating in Christ's mission, so that His death would hold meaning for each one of us.

So that heaven would truly be a home, after the Second Coming of Christ!

May Your will be done, Almighty God. Amen.
