THE PARABLE OF THE HIDDEN TREASURE (MATT 13:44)

A man happened to find a treasure hidden in a field. He covered it up again, and was so happy that he goes and sells everything he has, and then goes back and buys that field.

The Kingdom of God is unseen, with our naked eyes, but to those whom God decided to reveal, would be able to see God in everything, situation and condition, that lies before their sight.

They would be able to see God as the only one who creates, provides and sustains their lives and beings.

Rightly as our parents who were mere transmitters of God's love, provide us with our daily needs; care, nurturing, gentle chastisement and depth of human love.

Could God who instilled that human instinct and essence of human love, not done what He had taught us?

No! God never failed in His duty and obligation to provide us with divine essence of love and justice.

Human beings' essence of love is still far from perfect, as sin tainted that nature in us. But even then, God is the source and perfection of all love that we see, in the world today. He is the only Teacher, Leader, Model and Father of all that the pure human nature in us would hunger and thirst for.

What is the meaning of sole and source of Fatherhood, Teacher, Model and Leader?

There is none in this world, not even Adam and Eve, who could be the role model, leader, teacher or father of God's Children. For the purity in our Blessed Mother Mary was indeed her personal struggle to be one with God in obedience and submission, as God's most delightful and humble 'handmaid', to love and care for Jesus Christ, born of her and Incarnation of God. The human perfection in her was by itself a gift of God, by filling her to the brim, the Holy Spirit, of which she was consecrated to become the Temple of God's presence in her life. She was blessed and rightly called the spouse of the Holy Spirit. Human union of conjugal love cannot supersede that nature of union with the Holy Spirit. God, through Jesus Christ, although her Son was her spouse and intimate soulmate, of which she submitted and obeyed.

Yes! Indeed those who discovered the Kingdom of God and accepted Jesus as their Savior and Redeemer are given peace, joy and love that are the essence of Jesus Christ Himself. This is the treasure of the Kingdom of Heaven within us. If we truly accept Jesus as our best friend and personal Lord and Savior, we have everything. Jesus' Spirit is God's Spirit and it dwells in us. It is the same Spirit that is in God the Father, and that is why we possess everything. Nothing in this world is of greater importance, even the power and wealth of the whole world.

What should we invest in, the temporary or the permanent treasure?

We should invest in permanent treasure. We should not be foolish and blind to invest on temporary treasures on earth, enslaved by money as though it was our god. The good values taught by man are not perfect values of God. The wise on earth still face judgement like any of us. They also depend on Jesus to save them. If they were not taught the values of God but live according to what they think is right, then it is better not to base our lives on their teachings.

To integrate the values of God and those of this world is human wisdom, but the wisest is to allow God's grace to give us the wisdom and knowledge to lead and guide our lives. This wisdom is perfect and pure. It overpowers all wisdom of man.

Our wisdom is limited to the height of what we know, from personal experience, research and from the spirit of this world. God's wisdom is the height of all wisdom. His wisdom brings victory; a victory that conquers even death. His wisdom is worshipped in Heaven, on earth and the world below. No one can rebel in the sight and presence of God when all keys are surrendered to Him. Judgement Day would be the time when God took full control of all His creatures. It would be like the day when we no longer pay the house rent and the keys surrendered to the landlord. No entry is possible.

All material and physical disappear, and there would be nothing, whereby we can hide our faces and presence from God. We would either appear before Him stumbling with great fear and shame, or rush to Him with an immerse amount of love, as thought, a true reunion with our own family. Yes! Indeed, we were separated from God, because of sin and our sinful human flesh, that veiled us from the presence of God. When Jesus comes again, all the veils, would be removed from us and God, is just a glance and blink of the eye, away, from us.

Many of us will experience particular or temporary, judgement immediately after death, like it or not we have to go, the tenancy is over, we have to move out at once and face the owner.

If while in this world, we had stored up treasure, in the treasure 'room', of God, no thieves, robbers or agents of decay, can ever touch, what is in God's hand.

How to store up treasure in heaven?

Jesus said to His Disciples, in preparing for their mission of being Apostles and the cost they were going to pay, in order to inherit eternal life, on earth and world to come.

Jesus said, that not even a single hair of theirs would be lost.

Nothing that they did, for the Kingdom of God, on earth was unimportant. Every little struggles, toils and labors, they endured, would be worthwhile and paid, much more than what they had invested.

Of course, when we follow Jesus, merely for the reward, is like a son who was cold towards his father at the back, but in front it was a different story, so to gain his approval and obtain selfish favor from him.

God sees our thoughts, plans, visions, dreams, desire, hope, fear and as a whole our whole lives and beings, through and through. Even, before thought came into our minds, God knew it through and through. Nothing was ever hidden from the perfect vision of God.

Why then, He seemed not to care, when the world was in fact walking towards, and practicing, the culture of death rather then life?

Why then He seemed so unconcerned about our trials, troubles, tears and all torment of the hearts, minds, bodies and the spirits?

Where was God, when our children were sick?

Where was God when human lives were taken for a ride?

Where was God, when Man despised Him?

Where was God, when the whole Church, was persecuted?

Yet, when Jesus suffered in the Garden of Gethsamane, God seemed far away. God seemed so unconcerned about the depth of His Son's sorrow.

God seemed to abandon Him to suffer and die a lonely death.

Did God ever neglect His Children to suffer alone?

Did God ever cast aside His role as Divine Providence?

Did God create us in order to see us suffer?

Did God create us to let us starve to death?

Did God create us to be naked?

Did God create us in order to leave us orphan?

No! God never creates us, to be torment by the Devil, sins and the consequence of sin.

God creates us pure, holy, perfect and good, which includes the whole contain of the earth.

Why and how, they turn bad, were never in God's plan, but Man, choose, these form of lives, for themselves and their descendents.

We inherit, this sinful nature and lives from our first parents, who made decision for us.

They had embraced the Devil as their co-partner and decided to fool God too, by taking what appealed to them most. They passed on to us the worldly and deceitful spirit of impurity and sin.

By taking and consuming the Devil's food, we are doomed to suffer us they had suffered. By taking and consuming the food of God and Life, we inherit eternal Life from God, who still loves and treasures us, despite of our disobedience and sins towards God.

The 'Hidden treasure', is found in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Way, Truth and Life and all of God's Goodness and treasures are passed and given to us who desire and come to Him, through Jesus Christ. The essence of treasure, lies in Jesus' own love, by His death and resurrection. Through these. the world was finally reconciled to God, who had loved us before He ever put His plans of creation into Words and existence.

His love and justice, divine, whereby, by Man's wisdom, it was in fact the depth of foolishness, yet that was the essence of His love for all.

The world's wisdom, in the eyes of the world was worshiped and most craved for, by intelligence scholars and man of great wisdom. Yet these were in God's eyes, foolishness.

Why foolishness?

It would not have been foolish, if by the world's wisdom, man can surge towards God and be one with God, in obedience and submission. They would be able to know, who in fact had brought everything into being and existence. They would be able to worship this God whom they owed their whole lives, beings and wisdom itself, in truth and spirit.

But the wisdom of the world, to those who lived in falsehood and enslavement, brings about their own destruction. They cannot save even their own bodies, what more to say their souls.

Therefore it is wisest of all wisest wisdom, indeed to be able to be like 'little children' as far as our attitude towards God is concerned, for rightly we were in fact little children, when God revealed Himself. By then we would be able to see the blessing and privilege to be thus.

The 'Hidden Treasure' of God were laid widely exposed in the hearts of those who submitted to Him, in His Three Times Holy God. That is of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Among the Three Holy God, they must be treated and worshipped as equal, in our hearts, souls and our minds.

The Holy Spirit, must not be feared and man must not be complacence with ignorance. It was through the Holy Spirit, that Jesus came down from heaven. It was through the Holy Spirit that the whole universe and everything in them, came into existence. It was the presence of the Holy Spirit, in the angels, saints and Jesus, that enabled them to share in God's own Life. God treasured all that belonged to Him, even though they may continue to fall into sin. His tireless hands, never fail to reach out to those whom He loved, irrespective of how heavy their sins were.

God's Spirit, presence in all His handiwork; its laws and systems, which enable Him to hold His creation as in the past, now and time to come, until the Second Coming of Jesus, in obedience. Only through, with and in unity with Jesus, through His Spirit, can we see the Will of God at work, in all these. During the Second Coming of Jesus, God's Spirit, in Him, at the command of God the Father, would withdraw all natural laws and its systems. In the eyes of human beings, we were in fact witnessing the reversal of God's creation, of the physical, like the unrolling of the scroll. During that moment, 'time' stood still, as time and space no longer exist, when God commanded that these be withdrawn. We would stand in the presence of God in awed and wondered, dressed in 'wedding gowns' to meet the 'Groom', or 'naked' with nothing to wear and tried to retreat in shame.

'Wedding Gown', means holiness, of God, filled with the Holy Spirit, living in favor with Him, whereas in contrast, 'nakedness' means evil, darkness, without God's Life and Spirit in them, living as enemy of God.

During that moment, purgatory and all its purification process, would be hastened and most souls would cry out in pain, agony and shame as their sins which had not been cleansed were revealed before their very eyes.

Jesus would draws all of His 'Bride' to Himself. We are the 'Bride' of Christ. It is not a plural but singular, 'Bride', because by then, all Man's hearts, souls and spirits, would be bonded together in unity and complete oneness, through the power of Jesus Blood and His love, in the working of His Spirit. This is a magnificent final cleansing, whereby all souls would be completely, white as wool, ready to embrace the 'Groom' and join in the Heavenly Banquet, of everlasting feasting. All hearts, minds and souls of Man, would rejoice, as they received what they were in fact dying for, which Jesus in unity with His and Our Father had prepared for in the beginning of Time. All shall lived happily ever after.

Praise the Lord. Amen.
