I NEVER KNEW YOU (MATT 7:21-23)

Not everyone who calls me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the Kingdom of heaven.

But only those who do what My Father in heaven want them to do.

Lord, Lord! In your name we spoke God's message.

By your name we drove out many demons and performed many miracles

I never knew you. Get away from me, you wicked people!

It would be quite impossible for people to perform miracles and wonders in Jesus' Name, without Jesus giving them the authority and power, don't you think so?

But if a person, who is spiritually or physically ill, asked a priest or prayer leader to assist him/her, come with faith in God, would God make that spiritual weak, 'little one', a victim of the sin of the priest and prayer leader?

Would a priest, who is the minister of the Sacrament of the Eucharist, incapable of transforming ordinary bread and wine into Jesus' Body and Blood, if he himself is losing his faith/doubtful about God at that instance?

God looked with love and mercy, on the hungry souls, who come to receive the Holy Eucharist. He would still perform that powerful miracle, regardless of the faith/disposition of the doubtful heart of that priest.

That priest would have to face God, in this life and the next.

He would be judge by the disposition of his heart, rather than the work that he performed.

To be honest, no one, not any religious or pious person is truly pure, like Christ Jesus, in God's sight.

The closer we are to God, the more sinful and unworthy we will feel and vice versa.

God knew the weaknesses of His Instruments/Shepherds, on earth, so He allows, wonders and miracles to happen, so that this person, who comes with faith, in God might be healed, spiritually or physically.

Can these people boast that they are destined to go to heaven, by performing wonders and miracles with a prideful and selfish heart?

Jesus seemed to be very harsh on this group of people by calling them wicked people. They must have great faith in order to be able to perform miracles and cast out demons. Why then Jesus called them thus?

Faith, without love amounted to nothing. All that God wants is a heart that would open up, like a cup offered, to God, so that He would pure out His Living Water/Holy Spirit on the recipient. God is never mean. He pours and it overflows the tiny cup, for others to drink too.

God is love, so is the life and person of Jesus, is the full expression of God's love, by His complete submission to God.

If we boast that we have Christ and yet not have love, peace and joy, there must be areas in our lives that had not been opened to God in our lives. We must acknowledge that most of our hearts are like a grave, that had since childhood buried a lot of hurt/unsolved injustice, un-acceptance of circumstances, situation or condition of lives, yet we have no choice but close the case, like X-file, buried the unsolved mysteries, injustice alive.

If that was the case, these hurts and mysteries might just emerged from the buried grave and caused abnormal behaviors, inferior complexes, depression, phobias of different categories, etc.

Therefore we must allow God to heal and deliver us by digging through the heart, for seeds, roots, plants, trees and fruit of evil, sin and hurt.

We, cannot be a fully functional person unless that negative characters/hurt/sin, etc are uprooted and the hurts and wounds healed.

Conversion and purification is a life long process, in this world till the next, in purgatory.

In our time, there sprouts so many different prayer groups. Many have deviate, mostly because of the elements of pride and self-praise among their members, towards other groups, omitting the most essential elements that are, love and selfless service for fellowman. The groups began to serve their own personal interest, instead of the whole Church and people who dwell in darkness, who longed for the light.

Many have become so proud that they stood out above the rest.. Therefore those involved in prayer groups must be alert of the devil and evil at work, even in Charismatic prayer groups. We must serve with humility, divine love and selflessness like Christ, knowing that we are sinners and we need God's mercy and grace otherwise we are not able to save even our own souls, what more to save the souls of others. Divine love means love that had its source in God, not man. God wants the participation and obedient of man, in God's work of salvation.

The devil also calls Jesus 'Son of the Most High' but, they had not done God's will, except the role of fire, in order to test the children created by God, who decided to live apart from Him or as trials to strengthen their spirits.

We call Jesus 'Lord' we must also do what God wants us to do. Scripture also said, "No one can call, Jesus Lord, unless it was the work of the Holy Spirit". So this could contradict what Jesus said. What Jesus meant was, if we love Him, we need to obey His Command. Love is obedience, of which the Devil, could not, so were his instruments/servants or channels.

After the Three Great Temptations that Jesus encountered with the Devil, when He fasted for forty days in the desert, the Devil acknowledged that unlike Adam and Eve, who would have fall, if that temptations were directed at them. The Three Great Temptations were the 'apple', fruit from the middle of the Garden, or the 'Forbidden Fruit'. The tree stood in the middle of the Garden, a symbol to revealed that it is a very outstanding and desirous. The offered by the Devil, to Jesus were indeed, very tempting and most, if not all mankind, would have offered their lives in exchange for that rewards.

Jesus stood steadfast and strong to the will of God. The Devil had never experience, that strength and steadfastness in any human being before. Jesus, did not reveal to him/them, who He was, but they found out themselves. The Devil worshipped and bowed down to Jesus, like we bowing down, when we were given audience with a king, but what motive and disposition of heart, did we come for, that king would not know, but not Jesus.

God gave Jesus the power and authority over mankind, by dwelling in cohesion with Jesus as Son of Man. God in Jesus, gave Him the strength, courage and depth of all faith to continue with God's mission in the salvation of mankind.

The Devil had to acclaim the Name God the Father gave to His Son, that is 'Jesus Christ, Son of the Most High God'.

Jesus' human nature as Son of Mary, yield and worshipped God's Nature and God Himself, that was inside the flesh.

His final struggle with His human nature was in the Garden of Gethsemane. After that He yielded to God, so like a sheep that is brought to be slaughter, He did not struggle by words or actions.

If our nature is not of Christ, how can we enter heaven. Christ denied Himself, in perfect obedience to the Father, took up our cross until death.

We too need to take up our own crosses, deny ourselves and follow Christ, otherwise that words of Jesus would become a reality in our lives, when we stood at heaven's gate, yet were refused entry.

Therefore, we ought to continuously examine the state of being of our souls Had our conscience alert or relent to the voice of the world, flesh or the devil.

The conscience stood as forefront in the defense system of our souls and spirits. If our consciences are sharp and alert and well-informed by the Spirit of God, they would rebel and reject what does not belong to God, so the doors of our hearts would be firmly closed. There are some with semi or poorly-informed conscience. These people would be less alert and careless about the influence of others, through personal relationship, media, Internets, etc who would bring spirits into their lives.

Hocked in Internet, television set, movies, enslaved in relationship, etc are in fact, stealing time from God. These were part and parcel of the works of the Devil in the world today. What more to say research and desire to clone a human being, would surely caused God's Sacred Heart of love to burn with intense flame, which might be manifested in great and powerful actions in our time.

What God is searching and looking at, is the sincere disposition of the heart. The heart is the house of the soul. God wants to save the 'house'/heart and the soul, together. That heart is not merely an organ, but the spirit of the heart.

That heart is the center activities of the whole body. Our whole beings, of which we see are merely human cells, tissues and organs, but were all merged with human spirit, either in cohesion with God's Spirit or other inferior or even evil spirits. The station/center of the spirits is the heart of which dwells the soul.

If our services to God are insincere of which are clearly exposed to the /Omni-present/Omni-potent and Omniscient personality of God, how can we receive any rewards. Like an owner of a sheep farm, who decided to go away, so he hires, shepherd for his flock. While the owner is away, the shepherd stole the sheep, torture and careless about the well-being of the sheep. Suddenly the owner return and saw how his sheep were neglected, sold and unhealthy/weak, what would he do to the shepherd?

Do you think that shepherd ought to receive any reward at all or should they be punished for infringing the contract?

We may be called and anointed as leaders, shepherds or care-takers of God's people, had we administered our responsibility according to the will of God, or are we in fact doing our own will, fulfilling our own human desire and mission?

Are we administering to God's people, based on the human wisdom and spirit?

Were the actions and words that we said, glorified God? If we had all this while used our own human wisdom, knowledge and understanding without submitting to God, then the glorification and reward rightly belongs to us, but that was not supposed to be. God called us to store up 'treasure' in the next world, so that when our duty on earth expired and we are called back, that precious treasure would be ours for all eternity.

Is it selfish and indeed insincere, to expect reward for the works done on earth?

It would be insincere, indeed, if the service to others, that were in fact empowered by God, when we expect material gain. We must also be able to distinguish necessities, which is rightly ours as God is our Divine Providence of spiritual and physical needs and excessiveness, made us into a storage for other needy people. Expect material gain, here means that, if we lend money to others, we expect payment. If they don't pay, we have the right to bring him/her to justice. We must not have this disposition of heart, because the work/service that we render to others, were God's actions and deeds of which God Consecrate us, to be His Instruments for the circulation. By our obedient to be His humble servants of which is the essence of the Kingdom of heaven, would justified us, as members of the Kingdom of God in heaven.

We were merely doing the will of God. If that was so, God would prepare the vocation/path that He wanted us to tread/advance before, He put us into His plan.

So let us all do the Will of God and not our sinful human will and desire. Let our pure human will, be given all the freedom to co-operate with God for the task of, partakers in building God's Kingdom on earth.

Praise the Lord. Amen.
