The Promise of the Holy Spirit. (John 14:15-31)

"If you love Me, you will obey My Commandments.

Jesus spoke these words, before His departure, from this world, in order to fulfill His mission, that God had entrusted to Him.

Jesus as a human being, born of Blessed Virgin Mary, was indeed very sad to leave His disciples alone. In His personal vulnerable, condition, of which He was not supposed to perform any miracles to manifest His power and authority as God, but to be the helpless and unblemished lamb. Long before this really took place, God had prepared the Jewish people, for the Real Lamb of God. In Him, truly was salvation and hope. The sacrifice of animals, could never take away the sin of the Jewish people, but God prepare them for the True Lamb of God, who really takes away the sin of, not only the Jewish people, but the whole world.

Loving Jesus, comes from, the deep desire of the hearts, or the voice of the yearning of the souls. From this deep desires of the hearts, comes with a will to seek God, through His Spirit, that comes into our lives, through Jesus Christ and His love. It does not matter which personality in the Blessed Trinity come into our lives first. But the crucial point, is that without Jesus Christ, incarnation, death and resurrection, the Holy Spirit, that would have come to us, would still be far from 'touching' our hearts.

We would not be able to know, accept, understand, what more to love God, in His three personality and Divine status. God is never a God, who would push Himself into our lives, but a gentle, loving and compassionate Father and generous Providence. Through the coming of Jesus Christ, we began to slowly understand, who really God is. In Jesus Christ was the most Holy and Sacred Heart of God. In His Heart was the Throne of God, on earth, for the spiritually blind world to see. From this powerful and effective revelations of God in our time and space, of which Jesus had emphasized in several occasions, that if we had seen Jesus, we indeed had seen the Father. For the Father and Son is One. Both dwell in complete union and oneness with each other. Each yielding and hailing one another with highest respects and love. With, in and through the Power of the Holy Spirit, in unity with our human spirit, will and souls, would sprout out a New Life of True service and charity, derive, not solely from us, but in unity with God.

With the Spirit of Jesus, who had obeyed and submitted to the Will of God regardless of suffering, pain and agony, until death, would also do the same in our human bodies.

We would be able to love and serve God, like Christ Jesus in His human nature and spirit. The Spirit of Jesus, which consisted of His human and God's Spirit, would call God "Abba! Father!", so too He who dwells in us would unite with us, to call God the same. Therefore returning God with the true love and worship, God looks for in each one of us. For the human nature of Jesus had worshipped God with His whole heart, soul and mind. He told us to do the same. Only in, through and with Jesus, our sacrifices, prayers and offerings, shall be pleasing before God.

I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, who will stay with you forever.

Jesus knew that not long from that day, He would be handed over to be crucified, that was in fact the hour, He came into this world for. He knew that after He departed from them, there would be a great vacuum in their lives. In the depth of sorrow and tears, Jesus promised to be with them, when He returned to the Father and sent forth the Holy Spirit, who shall be their Helper. The Holy Spirit, will never depart from them forever. The same Spirit of Jesus Christ, but after He rose from the death, His Spirit, would have triumphed over all human weaknesses and death. That would be His Victorious Spirit. In His victory, God's Spirit or the Father's Spirit, shall dwell in complete Oneness with the Son. That would be a very powerful Spirit, which the Disciples, who would be anointed to be Apostles, shall received, in order that all fear and human weaknesses, shall be overcame. God's Spirit was reigning, supreme as at the beginning of creation. It was through the power and working of the Holy Spirit, that creation of the world came into being. The whole world was sustained and overpowered with God's Spirit.

After the fall of Adam and Eve, the hearts of Man, were closed and hid themselves from God and the Light of the Holy Spirit. For they feared that by coming into the full presence of God, their shameful deeds shall be exposed, while God continuously called out their names, but they refused to come out. After the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who had conquered all sins and sinful desires, God gave Him the Power of salvation and redemption of the human race. This Spirit, brought about a New Beginning and bond with God. Through The Spirit of Jesus, who unites Himself with our sinful human spirits, which His Blood and Body, continued to purified, deemed us worthy to be called sons and daughters of God.

He is the Spirit, who reveals the truth about God.

The Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of the Father and the Son, in an intimate bond of complete Divine Love, would reveal the truth to us about who He really is.

In the depth of conviction, through the invisible working of the Holy Spirit, we are able to move forward to God.

The Apostles were not revealed everything, when Jesus was with them. Jesus had only limited time of about three years, with His disciples. To truly know about God, what more to share in God's life, which includes His mission, miracles, power and teaching, needed the active presence and working of the Holy Spirit in their lives and ours too.

The more faith and trust, we put on God, the more powerful the Holy Spirit would be in our lives. Yet Jesus does not want us to have pride, which might surely destroy our souls and union with God. Most of the time, God works little wonders and miracles in our lives, to slowly manifest the reality of His presence in our lives. Most of these little miracles and intervention, were initially accepted as thus, but when our human sinful nature took control, these small wonders would be treated as mere coincidences in our lives. We began to use human knowledge and wisdom to analyze the unnatural phenomena. God is very patient, He would not give up. There are many ways, God spoke and reveals Himself to us. Many times He uses situation, condition and state of suffering, joy, victory of our every day lives to speak to us. He often uses, natures, like the magnificent beauty of the sky, the calm and peaceful seaside and natural jungles, together with its tranquility. He might use the thunderstorm and splendid explosion in nature to reveal His depth of love and power over all that He created. He may use animals to display His characters and natures. Sometimes in our lives, when certain circumstances, which we were caught in a great battle with the animals we loved, yet that were never the ways the animals used to behave. Stop and ponder, why? We might end up finding, the gentle voice of God, teaching us His own lessons.

Jesus Himself is the Truth, for He is God. All truths come from God, but ours were tainted, yet we call them truth. God the source of truth, would reveal, small truth, big truth and overwhelming flows of His truth. When we had discovered the truth about God, our lives would be truly free and God would be our supreme Lord and God in our lives.

The world cannot see or know Him.

The Holy Spirit, is an unseen power and authority of God. The Holy Spirit, is the carrier and transmitter of God's Light, yet He Himself is the Light. For the nature of the Three Person is but equal in power, will and authority. Each one complements the others, without any hitches. If you worship the Holy Spirit, you are worshipping God, the Father and the Son. If you are worshipping the Son, even in His human nature, you are worshipping God the Holy Spirit and the Father. If you are worshipping God the Father, you are doing the same to the Son and the Holy Spirit. The difference is that, the three had specific roles to play. God the created and master of everything, seen and unseen, who is called God the Father, because Jesus came to earth to be God's Son. Jesus, is God the Son, in His Divine and then purified on earth, became completely One as God the Son. He took charge of the transformation, redemption, purification and salvation of human race. After, He emerged victory and thus conquering physical and spiritual death, God gave Him the Name that is greater then all other names on earth, heaven and world below.

God the Holy Spirit, work in co-operation and unity with the will and plans of the Son and the Father. Each complements each other in order to save mankind. That was the consequence of the fall of Adam and Eve, which brought about the great and awesome manifestation of His Power and Love.

But you know Him, because He remains with you and is in you.

Even before the official coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles, they were guided, comforted and strengthened with the same Spirit that Jesus had during that time. The Disciples were indeed experiencing the state, Jesus was experiencing. Jesus went through trials and sufferings, so were the hearts and minds of the Disciples, because Jesus' Spirit was with them. Jesus carried the cross and was crucified, so too the Disciples were experiencing those agonies, loneliness and death. After the resurrection, their hearts were filled with joy and hope. They looked forward to Jesus' appearance to them, as they come together in prayer and unity. Jesus gave them the Holy Spirit, to forgive the sins of others. Jesus came for this. The sole purpose of His death was to duel with sin and to forgive sinners. Sin was the obstacles for complete communion, vision and unity with God. Jesus did not come to judge, or shine His Light and brings the people to shame, but He came as a doctor for the sick sinners and the sick world. He came to take away and threw those trash away to the feet of His Cross. He would not want to keep any record of our wrong doings and sins. He did not forget, as forgetfulness was not God's nature, but He came to erase and not let sins torture our hearts and minds.

Jesus promised to be with us, until the end of time and He will keep that promise, through His presence in the world, in a very powerful manner, during the Pentecost's festival. He is all out to capture the hearts that were His, from the slavery and bondage of the Devil.

When I go, you will not be left all alone;

I will come back to you.

Jesus was trying to tell them that He was going to die. He would not be physically visible to them, enclosed in human flesh, but He would come back to them in a glorified body. Even though Jesus was separated from their physical companies, but He will be with them in His Spirit.

In a little while the world will see me no more, but you will see me; because I live, you also will live.

Jesus was trying to explain to them the nature and power of the spiritual world. Even though the flesh was separated from the body, His soul, together with His mind, will, desire and human spirit in unity with God's Spirit, would still be of the same, but would function in a more powerful manner, without any physical enclosure of flesh. Our human bodies bound us, from the realm of heaven. The spiritual world, is without any physical boundary and timeless. One thousand years, hundreds of years and tomorrow do not make any different.

Imagine the whole universe, when every physical objects were removed, that is heaven, when there is 'light'. Hell when there are complete 'darkness'.

Yet those who were in the spiritual realm, in their spiritual bodies, felt the reality of heaven as a New Earth.

The Holy Spirit, will dwell in human beings and empower our hearts and lives to please God and do His will, just like Jesus did.

The Holy Spirit never leaves us, as long as we desired Him and wanted to love, serve and worship God.

Saints had the fullness of the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, in their whole beings. Saints are Temple of God, filled with His Spirit. Where all elements in the Temple worshipped God, in Jesus Christ, enthroned in the purified human hearts. These purified human hearts, provided a perfect communion with all the saints, Jesus and God.

When that day comes, you will know that I am in My Father and that you are in me, just as I am in you.

Whoever accepts My commandments and obey them is the one who loves me.

My Father will love whoever loves me; I too will love him and reveal Myself to him."

"Whoever loves me will obey My teaching.

My Father will love him, and My Father and I will come to him and live with him.

Whoever does not love Me does not obey My teaching.'

And the teaching you have heard is not mine, but comes from the Father, who sent me.

I have told you this while I am still with you. The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, will teach you everything and make you remember all that I have told you."

"Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you.

I do not give it as the world does.

The peace that Christ gives is the source of all other peace. In Him God made peace with Man. In Him forgiveness of one another faults and failures are justified. For Christ had forgiven our deathly debts, not even if we offered up our whole lives, can redeem that debt. When Christ had cancelled off our deathly debts, it is only human justice to forgive others, no matter how much harm, hurt or injuries, they had inflicted on our lives.

The world, with its wisdom, knowledge, understanding had a different standard of justice. The standard of the world as stated by Jesus is 'an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth'. If you do good to me, it is justice, that I returned the same to you. If you hurt me, I had every right to hurt you. If you kill me, I would have the power to defend myself, so in this struggle, I might kill you too. That was human justice. Yet Jesus was not emphasizing on these. For Jesus said that the most human being can take from us are our own bodies, not the souls.

If we have to struggle in order to defend ourselves, we need to take into consideration the souls, inside of us.

The world version of justice and peace, is so different from that of Christ. Christ came to duel with our spiritual health. Christ came to save our souls, the ultimate treasure and life of God, in each one of us.

If the peace and love of Christ, is within each of us, the world would be paradise once more, yet Jesus came not for this. He would soon unroll the scroll back to its original phrase and state. God, through Jesus Christ, is preparing a New Earth for each one of us. The old had to pass away soon and a new order formed by God, where the land would be truly paradise. Heaven shall truly be the throne of God and earth His footstool. Therefore heaven and earth belonged fully to Jesus Christ. After all works of salvation and purification is accomplished, Jesus offered up everything that He held back to God. Together in complete unity and Oneness, both seated at the Throne of God, shall reigned over all and in all.

Do not worried and upset; do not be afraid.

You heard Me say to you, 'I am leaving, but will come back to you.'

If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father; for he is greater than I.

Jesus said these words as Son of Man, born of Virgin Mary. Indeed in His Human Nature, that had not been glorified and honored by God the Father, before His death, He was, the Servant of God.

Only after His complete obedience to God, He was honored and glorified. God gave Him the Power and Authority that was His, to His Victorious Son, together in His two natures. Jesus as God, in Jesus Christ, even before His human body is completely purified, is the Almighty and Powerful God, who created everything, on earth and heaven. Purified, here does not mean that Jesus had any sin, but He carried the sins of the world in His Divine shoulders. He had to go through all the trials, suffering and finally experiencing physical death, of which were a norm of human sinful lives and natures. Jesus was purified, when He conquered all and overcame what ordinary human being would have succumbed and fall. God, the Father, honored and rewarded Him, by glorifying Him, in His resurrection.

I have told you this now before it all happens, so that when it does happen, you will believe.

I cannot talk with you much longer, because the ruler of this world is coming. He has no power over me, but the world must know that I love the Father, that is why I do everything as He commands Me.

The physical earthly kings and authorities, had no power over Jesus, but God wanted Him to bow down at the hand of the earthly kings and authorities, for the time being. This was the way Jesus was going to die. The Jewish Temple Priests slaughtered the animals for the sacrifice, so too Jesus would be slaughtered and killed by them, in order to fulfill what was prophesized in the scriptures.

If it was not the will of God to let or allow Jesus to die this way, He can easily walk away from them un-harm. They would be powerless to bind Him or treated Him harshly. They would not have the power and right to kill Him. No one can hurt or harm Him, if God had not allowed man, to manifest the evil and sin inside them.

Praise the Lord. Amen.
