He would not even hold back the life of His only Begotten son, for the love of mankind, in our hopeless and sinful state of being.

His love continued to be limitless and without boundary.

He can change the tides, winds, waves, seasons, etc anytime.

Why then is there suffering on a personal basis and the world?

God chastises us with His love. Jesus Himself was crucified and died under the hand of sinners, the consequence of our sins.

What prompted Judas to betray Jesus was part and parcel of the devil's work.

What caused Pilate to act against his principle was also the work of the devil.

God can just let Jesus die painless and without any struggle. The struggles happened in the Garden of Gethsemane between His Human nature and Divine nature. The struggle was an agony, as seen by His sweat, which was as thick as blood. Finally His Human nature yields to His Divine nature. That was the most painful decision He had made as far as His human nature is concerned. He sacrificed it to serve the purpose of His Divine Nature. His Human will submit to the will of God. God can just take away the pain and agony of the Son of Man and let His death be a painless mystery. But that was not the way of God, God allow His human nature to share the fate of the greatest sinners, by dying a shameful death. A death that fitted a slave, not a legal and respectable citizen of a sovereign country. He died like a rejected human being. An outcast and a shame to the Jewish people. Even His own people generously offered up Jesus as Jews to be tortured by their enemies. They were oppressed and hated the Roman Governor, armies and people. Yet the fate of Jesus, they willing let them decide.

Jesus died in the hands of the very people He came for. Jesus came to fulfill the promise God made to their ancestors, yet the very hands that try to feed them was fiercely bitten and the food rejected mercilessly.

Jesus came to bring about the rise of the Jewish people first, since they rejected Him salvation after that is for the whole world. Is this the will of God, to spread His reign overboard the Jewish race?

Justice was served, even before Jesus began His public ministry. At the age of twelve years old, He was seen in the Temple, too zealous and anxious to preach and change the Jewish people, to the extend of not informing His parents of His intention to stay back.

At His death, the earth showed sign to reveal the sovereignty of Jesus as God. The whole earth bowed down to worship Jesus, the victorious one, The earth quake, the sun refused to shine and the curtain of the Temple that once enclosed the Tabernacle was opened. The whole creation mourned during the passion and crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The earth and creation praised, thanked, saluted and glorified Jesus as He breathed His last.

Even those who had watched Him through the sorrow and agony, until His death declared that, what happened were all prophesized long ago by the prophets. Therefore, indeed, unmistakably, He was the Son of God.

What happen today?

Suffering was the consequence of our sinful and fallen nature. Yes! Indeed, Jesus had brought about the rise, when the ransom of Jesus as 'The Lamb of God" was offered and paid. Is God so cruel to have enjoyed watching His Son going through all these depth of trials. No! God was in Jesus Christ. His Human nature and Divine nature co-operated to bring about the rise of mankind. The way Jesus suffered, was the same way God in Jesus Christ suffered. God had never leaves Jesus alone to go through the agony and death, but He was fully in Jesus Christ. The Divine God in Him, gave Jesus the fullness of strength and approval to go through the sorrow and agony. This was the consequence of sin. To sin is so easy, but the price God paid for sin was the life of Jesus as Son of Man anointed by God, who came from the flesh of Mary.

Sin still engulfed the hearts and souls of those who still welcome them into their lives. The devil still operate, even though they had been defeated in the world today.

The present of the devil, who is the source of sin and mankind still allow them to reign constituted to the widespread of suffering, agony of the hearts, souls and the minds personally. Externally, they were the cause of havoc, disasters, calamities, wars, battles, divisions, starvation and all diseases of creations and natures.

Personally, God comes into our lives, to transform us into who God is, as Son of Man. We can never be like God, who is spirit, without a physical body, but we can be like Jesus as Man, in His human nature and spirit, that fully submitted to God. The transformation is to make us like Jesus who submitted His human will and desires to God's will and desires. United in His Human nature, we are joined with His Divine Nature.

This transformation is the most painful one compare to others. It is a detachment from what we treasured the most. We had lived as the world and devil wanted us to live, but rarely to the way God wanted us to live. We had to be like Jesus, to submit and yield to God's powerful Spirit to fulfill His purpose in us. To detach from this old lives and ways is impossible as far as human power and will is concerned. Therefore we asked God to fulfill the task of deliverance, healing and salvation of our souls and human spirit.

Like the straightening of a 'bonsai' plant is impossible as far as human intelligent and wisdom is applied. The stunted, dwarfed and old plant's stems and branches would break off. We too are dwarfed, stunted and like old 'bonsai' plants. We had been shaped by the world and its value, not recognizing the devil is at work powerfully and successfully this ways. God had to transform us, by His Spirit and Power, but He needed our full co-operation and submission of will to His.

As long as sin and the devil still had a comfortable place externally in the world, or internally in our bodies, souls and spirits, suffering inward and outward is a sure sign to persist as a manifestation of their existence and present.

How are we to live like 'wheat', if ever we are, among the 'weeds'?

First and foremost, we had to see the world through the eyes of Jesus as Son of Man. To do as He had done or would have done. To pray that God's will be done. To live according to the value of the Gospel, in the Spirit of Jesus Christ. This is a huge hurdle in which we are to jump. This is a cross-road of our lives. This required our decision and freewill. Either in favor of God or the world and the devil. We cannot put our two feet in different boats, we will sink.

In favor of God, suffering in unity with Christ's, will brings about the purification and salvation of our souls.

In favor of the world and the devil, sacrifice and suffering, would brings short term physical benefit together with the price we had to pay in order to hold the world in our hands. If we live according to the ways and values of this world, comes stress, competition, challenges, cat and mouse's race are part and parcel of the consequence we had to accept. People of the world started running after wealth, position, prestige, power, name, status, the kill or be killed slogan, stepping on each others head, as stairs for promotion, etc. Holding the world in our hands this ways, brings about unexplained headaches, migraine, hormone disorder, cancer, nervous, mental and emotional break-down, insomnia, peptic ulcers caused by anxiety, stress, etc. Yet the benefits are short term, good only for this life, whereas our souls lost and destroyed.

Some very serious and extreme cases are those who had been trapped by the devil, knowingly or unknowingly. The devil employs tactics that are almost camouflage from the outside, which means that the people of the world are living in a battlefield, not knowing or wanting to know there are dangerous traps set by the devil to trap ignorant victims. The war had ended but the battles are not over yet. Therefore we must be aware of the danger of living in a battlefield without shields and weapons to fight and protect ourselves. The weapons and shields, we do not have, but only God can provide and give. On our part, when all weapons and shields are given to us, we must use it, not store or keep them to rot and rust.

God gives us His Words and His Spirit, as weapons and shields of defense and protection.

As Long as the battles are still going on in our hearts, souls and minds, internally and externally as long us deceits, falsehood, pretension and sins still exists there suffering would be the norm of our lives.

As long as darkness still dwell in the light,

As long as evils are still at home in our lives and world,

As long as Children of God still cannot fully submit to God,

As long as sins still find a comfortable place in our hearts or the world,

As long as full sanctification, deliverance, healing and salvation had not found its fulfillment, sufferings continue to exist internally and externally.

May God's Will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
