The Evil of superstition

How do we define superstition?

Superstition extracted from, dictionary defined superstition, as belief which is not based on reason or fact but on old ideas about luck, magic, etc.

Superstitious means, strongly influenced by superstition.

Supernatural means, impossible to explain by natural laws, of or caused by the powers of spirits, gods, and magic.

Matters and experiences connected with unknown forces and spirits.

From those terms, let us penetrate through some of the rituals and rites, of those I personally observed, those revealed to me by others and revelations of the Lord, through the Holy Spirit and other instruments.

Wedding rituals and rites were based mainly on respect, love and unity. In a pagan family wedding rites and rituals were focus mainly on worship, respect, honor and precepts of real life of couples.

When a groom reached the bride's house, at a specific hours according to their superstitious belief of fortunes and lucks, would first and foremost, bow down, together with the bride to pay respect, honor and even worship to their ancestors, especially the nearest ones.

Then continued with the rituals and rites of showing respect and obtaining blessing from the parents or guardians.

Which was highlighted in the ritual of serving tea to the elders and parents, whereby they would be showered with generosity of red packets, gold ornaments and blessing of words and gestures. Whereas the younger ones, whether of generations or siblings, would have to serve tea to the couples and red packets would be given too. A Red packet is a sign of blessing and providence of which the elder ones would give to the younger ones.

Then the couples would proceed to the groom's house, the ritual was also repeated. This time to show that the bride, now is being absorbed into the groom's family, whereas in the bride's house, the bride is being given away by the parents, which might bring tears as the bride left the family, she once belonged.

In funeral rites and rituals too, they were indeed very colorful. When the dead body is being delivered back to his/her own house from outside the resident, where she/he died, the body is not allowed into the house, but outside where tents are being put up. But that would be different if she/he died inside the house. If that was the case, then the dead body would be allowed to rest and put into coffin, inside the house. This was not to upset or anger the soul of that person, by going against his/her wish. A sign of respect for the wishes of the deceased.

The family of the deceased would have to fast, by wearing rug, clothing inside out, take vegetarian food, no make-up and expensive accessory allowed to be worn, no music and entertainment allowed, no laughter and happiness allowed to be expressed. Moments of sorrow and grief are a must, even to the extend of putting sad music and songs, to bring about tears, etc.

All these fasting were mainly to plead the gods or spirits whom they worshipped, for the good of the souls. That was the pagan superstitious belief. Participating in false worship of various ancestries spirits, angels of darkness, evil spirits as gods. These spirits as gods, are mostly of the universe and the devil.

These spirits in co-operation with their deceived conscience and spirits, work towards inhibiting fears and further grieves to the families.

More and more rituals and rites would be performed in order to settle their fears, especially of misfortunes and bad-lucks. They began spending fortunes in order not to infuriate the evil spirits. Which the souls of the dead, in their agony, loneliness, would be further shaken, instead of a peaceful rest.

Fearing that the dead would come back to claim back, or to complete their uncompleted tasks, they put all the death's personal belongings, that were regularly used inside the coffin. The rest to be discarded off or burnt. They would try to remove any trace of the existence of the death, be it their own parents, spouses, children, etc. To prevent themselves to be reminded of the death, which might caused sadness, loneliness or most probably the fear of the death person returning back.

With knowledge that all people need food, of which they believed for the death there was no exception. True, the death need food, but what form of food, clothing and necessities are really needed, since they had returned to the 'original', that is spiritual forms?

Early in the morning, the children, next of kin or those who used to prepare food, for that death, when he/she was alive would continued with the task, but only to prepare the best food, drink or whatever that person loved to take when alive.

Tooth-paste and brush, together with water and towel, would be offered to the death, so were cigarettes and lighter of his/her favorite brand. If that person was a drinker, alcohol would also be served.

These rites and rituals had a great significant, only to be misinterpreted and meaning lost after a long generation of those who merely do what is being told. Although passed over to the next world, but the link, not to be broken.

During the funeral procession, the departure of the deceased from the home or other destination was usually as grand as possible, with sorrowful music, clothed in shameless rugs and attires. Faces of sorrow and mourning were norm and necessity, during the procession.

Once the death was properly laid and properly positioned inside the tomb, no tears must be dropped into the opened tombs, shadows or names of those present must not be uttered, so that the death's soul, would not remember their names. Those deaths, must forever be separated from those alive. After performing all the burial rituals, the colored cloth tied around wrists, pinned on collars, ought to be thrown and burnt on the burial sites, or those more respectful ones would still wear till a certain period, then discarded to be burnt.

There was another rite and rituals, whereby the medium, would throw rice or coins and those mourners would try to collect as much as possible. The more the better, a sign of blessing and future providence, which they would be able to receive from the death and the next world.

After all these, they depart from the sites, without glancing back, but move away in quietly and orderly manner, not to awaken the death's soul. They then proceed to their home, with a different route, if available, so that the soul would not follow them home. In the home of the eldest son or his eldest grand son of the deceased, altar would be erected, so that future prayers, chanting, rites and rituals could be performed.

These were the ways, in which the human spirits, out of fear and ignorant of the Almighty God, invited and accepted other spirits of the universe, souls and the devils into their lives of falsehood and worship. These can be truly meaningful if the one that they truly fear and worship is God and His Spirit alone.

All the rites and rituals ought to be practiced with the wisdom and knowledge of the Spirit of God.

All the souls and spirits that are around us, be they the souls of our loved ones or the souls of other humanly unrelated ones are at the mercy of God. They all need the spiritual foods of which only God can give. They are not supposed to be given spiritual foods from other sources, because whatever that does not have its source from God is evil and comes from the Devil.

There are many traditions, rites and rituals which were lessons of which the generation had been taught orally. Which became channels whereby people seemed to treat them as mere superstition, of which spirit of fear would easily take root in the heart of the people. Oral transmission of tradition, rites and rituals became meaningless, instead it became a conducive ground for other spirits to take roots and bears fruits.

Any forms of spirit, which caused us to fear, leading us to comply, would enslaved and control us. Therefore ignorant of the rituals and rites, which might be spiritual enriching, would lead us into sins.

The food, drink, tooth-paste and brush, cigarette, etc, which might be necessities for the death, who was once alive, ought to be highlighted and corrected. It was more out of respect then of any benefit to the soul of the death. They also believe that by showering the death with goodness, would in turn please the souls, which blessing would be showered back to them in their lives on earth.

Christians bring flowers as a sign of love and respect to the death. This was in fact similar to those of other religions, but they use different material.

The food and other necessities which were brought before them were signs of love and respect and not that the death can partake of the physical things.

To be convinced that the death can indeed eat physical food, was indeed deceitful. Then why did St. Paul said that if the food offered to pagan gods, ought not to be taken in front of the 'little ones', which might led to their fall?

The 'little ones', could be easily made victims, due to their ignorant. They might think that it is alright to share and dine with the evil spirits and gods of human making. The thought of partaking in the same table with evil spirits, was in fact abhorrent, to those whose inclination are to please the Lord. If we who joined ourselves, as one with Jesus in the Eucharist, at the other hand also link with the Devil, through sharing their food, would contradict our faith.

But another truth was that, foods that were offered to whatever gods or spirits, belonged to God, the sole creator of all seen and unseen. The provider and giver of food and all material. Some Christian consulted pagan mediums and spirits, themselves or through others, which made no difference. God could see our desires and intention inside out. There is nothing that He cannot have access to.

Money would be valueless, without God providing the things or materials which give money its value. Gold and all commodities of human values, were God's creations. Most of those who does evil, offered up money to the middle person to buy material for worship. By offering up money was in fact stealing from God, for evil purposes.

God in His Almighty Power can claim back what the evil people offered to their gods or evil spirits, with or without the faith of God's people. Charmed objects, which spell had been cast, the Almighty God could de-charm and de-spell and took them back to Himself again, with or without an instrument acting on behalf of God.

God and the Devil would continue, for all eternity be a contradictory force. The battles would not be over, until God determined it. What about the sacramental objects, which the Catholic seemed to highly emphasize?

Whatever is outwards, may it be matters of the earth, gestures and words of the mouth, ought to bring about a communion of God with His people. Sacrament of Baptism, would be merely sign of outward cleansing, if that does not come from the desire of the hearts to live a converted lives.

Baptism would not have any spiritual benefit, if Jesus had not died and rose. Because Jesus had died and rose from the death, baptism became a sign of our unity with Jesus in His death and rose up from the water of baptism, open to His grace to live a resurrected and life full of hope and mysteries.

Sacrament of Confirmation would be meaningless, if Christ Jesus did not promised His Holy Spirit, to all those who desired a converted lives, in Baptism.

Confirmation with oils, a sign of His Spirit, which He put into the human body, which is the lamp for His oil. With this oil, the lamp shall give out the same light of God's Spirit in the world we lived in. To be one of the wise 'Ten Virgins', who kept themselves await and watched for Christ to reveal Himself. This would happen when our earthly lives are ended or when Jesus comes again.

Those anointed with the Holy Spirit on the forehead, were anointed for a basic mission, of discipleship. To be true Disciples of Christ, not the false or the Judas Syndrome within us.

We are called to be soldiers in Christ's army. To fight a spiritual battle with the evil ones. The unfinished task, Jesus had won for each one of us, in our personal lives. Helping and strengthening others as we unite ourselves with Christ, our Commando and Victorious One.

The Holy Eucharist, which to our physical eyes were merely white thin easily dissolvable wafer and red wine. But these were offered to God and Christ transformed them into His Body and Blood. This was the real presence of God, together with His Humanity in our physical, after He accomplished His plan on earth. This is a Spiritual Food, that nourished our souls and with His presence, if allowed to be enthroned will slowly or mysterious sped, His transformation of our human into Jesus' own human body. This Human Body, which dwell among us. Only through this unity, of which we all receive from this one source, would be one with Him, as His Church/New Temple of Jerusalem and Mystical Body. From the One source, we receive the food, so is the mission, which is of Christ.

Please do not be deceived, but be acknowledged by the fact that God had the ability to protect His own Body and Blood. God who gives the power to the priest to consecrate the bread and wine and transformed them into His own Body and Blood, can in His Almighty Power, able to take that back, by de-consecration, if evil is involved. All Eucharistic miracles that had taken place, were mainly for the benefit of God's beloved Children. The revelation of the reality of the presence of Jesus, in His fullness of Humanity as son of Mary, and of God in His Spirit. Those who took them with love, reverend, humility and contrite hearts, would receive essence of grace from God, especially enhancing and strengthening the Gift of Faith. The heart tissue, reflect His love of which Jesus wants us to reflect to others too. Give your heart to others. The clots of blood weighed equal, despite the different in sizes and appearance, showed that no matter how we break the bread or divide the one cup of consecrated wine, they are but one and we partake the whole body and blood of Christ. His human life and Divinity or God's Life, even in a crushed particles of bread. The mystery of consecrated bread, contained the blood of Christ too. Another showed the consecrated bread is Jesus Christ resurrected, alive and full of power and light.

The Devil knew the consecration had indeed transformed the bread, into Jesus' body, of which they wanted to mock, as a helpless God in mere bread. They wanted to finish off with Jesus, when they failed to enclose Him in the grave. They had not fully discovered the power and authority of Jesus. They had been crushing their own plans of destroying Jesus. By that miracle, of which a heartbroken wife exchange consecrated bread for an evil favor, was one of the ways, the Devil brought themselves into shame and their tactics trapped and revealed.

In the Sacrament of Confession, the priests acted on behalf of God, as His Spirit overpowered them, to take our sins to the cross of Christ Jesus. The penance given by the priests were deep in meaning, but the confessors need to acts according to the will of God, through His presence in the Holy Spirit. Let the Holy Spirit moves us into true reconciliation with God and one another.

Relationship with God needs to be manifested with the reality of our relationship with our brothers and sisters on earth, purgatory and in heaven. We are one family of God. The only Family that exist as from creation and beginning of time. All human families derive from this source of true Father and creatures, which were raised to become Children of God in unity with Christ Jesus. Therefore, when we offended others, which needed to be discerned from the Spirit of God within us, of the weight of our offend on God and one another. If God is hurt, so are all God's Creatures that share His Divine Life. Therefore when we confess, we need to confess to God and also to one another who would be spiritual hurt too because of our sins.

Confession to any priest, done in faith, would have our sins truly forgiven and our inclinations to Sin, weakened and severed.

But we cannot go chasing after priests, in great anxiety and fear, when we became aware of our sins and regretted for that. God through Jesus Christ gave the priest the power to take our sins to Christ Jesus, through the mystery of His Cross, and Christ passed the words of forgiveness and reconciliation through the priest.

Each of us has a personal and private room. We clean and sweep the floor every day, and rubbish is thrown into small basket. The basket of rubbish, is regularly thrown into a huge rubbish bin outside the house, await the collection truck to discard off. When discarded off, they are completely out of our sight and forgotten.

Daily Act of Contrition would enable us to ascertain the state of communion with God. If sins are committed or our inclination to sin had healed, leading us into a state venerable to sin, daily Act of Contrition would brings about grace and forgiveness, but this is very fragile, as the Devil could easily deceives us, that God had not forgiven us. If the sins or state of sin, continues to run like tape in our mind, bringing us into anxiety and fear, make sacrifice, if possible to confess them to any priest available.

In the Sacrament of Anointing of the sick, the priests too act on behalf of God, through the empowerment of His Spirit on them. For all miracles to happen, whether spiritual, physical in manifestation or both, which through faith in God, through Jesus Christ and God's Instruments, would have positive impact on our body, souls and spirits. God always emphasized and gave priority to the salvation of the souls above all others. He hopes for our trust and reliance on Him, first before other manifestations.

This must not be confused with the healing we received through the 'Laying of Hands', by lay prayer leaders. All Apostles and lay Apostles have different roles to play, in building the Body of Christ. All work towards a common unity, for the good of the Church of Christ on earth.

From my personal experience of which I was given the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, by Reverend Father Patrick Heng, I felt heat over my head as He laid hand over me. The liturgical words, were comforting and give me a lot of courage to face the uncertainty. I knew that after receiving this Sacrament, of which was the action of Christ, through the priest, I gain great faith, to carry the cross, if that was for my own good. At that time, I was suffering from anxiety attack, which caused palpitation of my heart. When the attacks came, my heart beat, hard and very fast. I described it as a monster, trying to get out of a trap. I thought that I was suffering from heart-attack. It happened, before the Anointing and Baptism of the Holy Spirit. It continued after that, whenever that spirit attacked me again. From these experiences, I had to learn to put my full trust and rest my burdens on His gentle shoulder, for He wants to carry them all.

All of us whether clergies, religious or baptized person, had common roles to play us 'little Jesus', in bringing about the fulfillment of God's Kingdom on earth, as Christ intended. We are all called to be Disciples and Apostles of Christ Jesus.

Sacrament of Holy Matrimony, which was instituted in the beginning of time, when God created Adam and Eve, was endorsed through Christ as He spoke so through His Words in the Gospels.

God wants to be the invisible life and strength in marriage. God wants to grow in this new family. God wants to love and provide all basic needs of this family. God wants to bless and consecrate their actions and intimacies of marriage. God wants to bless their offspring and nurtures them with His gentleness and compassion. God wants to build a domestic church in this new family cell.

God chooses His own Shepherd, just like Jesus chose His own Disciples. God blessed, provided and prayed for them, especially during the final discourse of His earthly lives. God gave them the Holy Spirit as Jesus continuous presence as the unseen God in the world today. God continued to bless them with Jesus' action in the Sacrament of Holy Orders. It is a Divine Order to continue the unfinished work of Christ to help, protect and be God's Instrument as Divine Providence to nourish their spiritual lives with spiritual foods for the souls. They were like 'lambs and sheep', who seek the shepherd to care and provide for them. When they strayed away, the shepherds of God are to bring them back, when they cried out. To heal their wounds and bring them on their feet again.

The sheep and lambs are young Christians who might be weak in their faith. They need guidance and help, so that they may not stray away.

Those who had gain strength must stood up and strengthen the 'young ones'.

In human family unit, parents are in fact at the service of the little ones. They served their children. So those who had gained the strength, from God too need to be like parents or shepherds to serve the children of God. So that they too may grow up and serve one another.

There are a lot of sacramental, or objects that we used for divine purposes. The celebration of the Mass, which is the gathering of God's people to celebrate and brings to remembrance and reality of the death of Jesus into the presence, are colorful and rich in sacramental. During that auspicious occasion, the bread, wine, water, gestures, preparation efforts, words, attires of priests, cloths, cross, candles, light, etc, are sacramental.

Jesus Christ, as son of Mary, was the summit of all sacramental. He came into being, as from the moment of His Conception, when God became flesh, in the womb of His Blessed Mother, Mary.

The Spirit of God, flows out through the human mouth of Jesus. His Word was Power and Authority of God. His gestures, actions and deeds were the manifestation of God's presence. God used Jesus, from the earth, as Sacramental, for His presence, in this world. God, did not used Him as mere object, but with love and respect for His human will. He could reject God and refused to obey, if he wanted to, but He had not. He made the wisest decision, ever in the history of Man and time.

The people of God, churches or chapels, pilgrimage centers, places of gathering of God's people, consecrated for God's purposes are sacramental.

The priests, the bread and wine, together with the containers. The clothing and attires of priests, altars, water, oil, light, words, gestures, etc.

Sacramental and Sacraments are supposed to bring about inner grace. For inner grace to come into our lives, the Spirit of Jesus, is knocking on each one of our doors. He is asking to be welcome into our lives. Are we willing to allow Him in? If He comes in, who would you allow Him to be?

Will you allow Him to sit in the center of your lives or do you unknowingly, put Him as object of fancy, which could not participate in the active running of our lives?

These must not be overemphasized, but the origins and its purposes, must not be kept hidden from the 'young ones'. All sacramental are powerless of its own, but the Spirit of God that consecrate it, would gives it meaning and power.

Inside every sacramental, lies a spiritual significant or value.

Superstition is the believe in supernatural power that derives from the forces of darkness.

Initially these forces are perceived, in the mind, causing unexplained fear and anxieties.

By this state of mind of which might affect the heart, which is the entrance for all forms of spirit, if we are not cautious enough.

The spirit of superstition attack logic and facts, which might even led highly learned people of great wisdom into confusion.

How they manage to fool, deceive and manipulate so many people?

This spirit, would test us in various forms. They might initially used insignificant events. This spirit would deceive us by saying, 'because you did not perform certain rites, rituals, gestures or chant certain words, so that is why this bad omen, was cast on you!'.

This would cause another spirit, called fear to manipulate, the already crushed person.

That person might be forced or driven by those spirits to seek remedies for the spiritual ailments. If they succumbed to those evil spirits, they would be driven to seek evil mediums, causing him/her to spend not only a fortunes, but they began to abandon their faith. Would the devil not humiliate God, because of that person?

If he/she was suddenly awaken, by God's voice and presence, they would most probably seek, a priest or prayer leader.

This is a form of idolatry, of which, if fully implanted in the mind and later the heart, became evil worshipping.

This sins, tend to be treated as mere common ones. Rarely were they fully confessed, during confession to a priest. Most of us think that this is not a serious sin at all. Temptations are not sins, so are the presence of the devil, knocking at the door of our hearts. Giving them a warm smile and welcome was indeed a great sin.

Extraction from another inspirations.

What is superstition?

Superstition is the believe in supernatural power that derive from the forces of darkness.

Initially they are perceived in the mind, causing fear and anxiety.

The spirit of superstition attack logic and fact of which we acquired through learning.

How they/it manage to fool so many people?

First they usually use insignificant material things.

They would instill in the mind of the victim that if certain rituals are not performed, tragedies or bad-lucks would occur.

By this it caused fear and anxiety, which by themselves are seeds of the Devil. Many Christian in their foolishness, had been easily deceived by the Devil. Driven by the forces of Darkness they seek their services. They would play mouse caught by a cat, with God's Lost Sheep. They were at their mercy.

This sin seemed to be taken for granted. The seeds that found a fertile ground to grow, into plants, trees and might already had bored plenty of evil fruits and might even have gone undisturbed.

Rarely would a person going for confession fully admit committing this sin of superstition. This sin became part of our lives as though they were mere lessons or teachings of wisdom from our ancestors. It like saying, 'Don't ask questions, just believe, submit and practiced! Pass these on to your offspring and younger generations!'

These seemed to be the case, of which God was greatly angered.

We may admit committing sin of idolatry when we bow down to idols and visible objects. When we burn hell-moneys and incense to please or worship other spirits or souls, but not when it only affects the state of our minds.

By the presence of these spirits, God's Spirit is not able to function to its peak and benefits the souls and bodies of those human beings.

Overemphasizing in sacramental, may they be primary or secondary matters, of oil, light, water, cloths, attires, signs, gestures, objects of statues, cross, pictures, places, etc to that of their real spiritual values and truth are by itself displeasing towards God.

We need to understand and be acknowledged that God meant the visible to brings us into the reality, of His Power, Authority, Presence, Love and Mercy, as a whole His Holiness.

If we sternly glued ourselves and complacent with mere physical manifestation, without any interest to enter into God's Mysteries in all the sacramental, then we are really living a live of falsehood, ignorant and pretension.

These are great injustice we had done to our souls.

We must ask and pray to God, to give us an open and submissive hearts, in order that His mysteries would take roots, grows and produces fruits in our lives.

Mysteries are reality in the spiritual world, by the presence of that essence that is the souls, which are God's life in us. This souls are mysterious and need a mysterious God, who is no other than the Almighty God to nourish and nurture us. Halting and complacent, with mere visible signs and objects, deprived our souls of God's love and mercy.

From all witnesses and testimonies of saints, who lived extra-ordinary lives, we need to ponder, 'Why is this possible with them?', or merely deceiving ourselves, that these lives were limited only to certain breeds of people.

Why is God so unfair ? If that is true, God is really unfair.

The Mid-Day Sun is brightly shinning in the sky, why are so many people still grope in darkness, or is it our fault, that we purposely stayed indoors?

This question, needed to be answered with sincerity!

Spirit of superstition, if well received and accepted into our lives, would saddened and bruised the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

For example; where, how or what statues or objects of which we took from the earth and made by human hands, should be kept in the house. They do not have any power, blessing or charm, accept that comes from the hearts. For by looking at sacred objects or sacramental, would bring us into the mysteries of the reality of God, His angels and saints. By these, surely would benefit and spear up faith and serenity, whereby we knew that God is our Father, who loves and cares for us. He is the Almighty God and Providence of everything. The power of darkness collapse at the presence of God. For it only takes faith to do it all. Faith by itself comes from God, so are all the goodness in us. Our whole lives and being were sustained and provided by God. So what are the parts, we need to play? What have we to offer to God, if we have nothing?

God wants each of His Beloved creatures of which God gave the life of His Son Jesus Christ, to be like Christ. For only being like Christ, by joining Him with, in and through His Spirit, we shall be pleasing, because God looked with favor and mercy on His Divine Son, so took us all as His Children of filial adoption.

We must not blindly follow rites and rituals without understanding the inner meaning, it's significant and value attached. By our ignorant, the Devil could easily manipulate our spiritual indifferences and blindness to their advantage. Which would amount to committing great Sin of Idolatry, whereby we compromised God with other things or spirits.

Take this example; there was a father, who had two sons. One of the sons, loved to stay close by his father. He listened to every word with a will to obey. His obedience was not based on fear of punishment, but fear to hurt his father, who loved him very much.

Then the other son, was very cold towards his father. He knew that his father was very strict, with power to hurt and punish him, so he obeyed every word with an unwilling heart, so to avoid punishment.

Which of these two sons would be more pleasing toward his father?

God is our Father, whether heaven or earthly. On earth, God took care of us through our parents or loved ones, simultaneously He is our Heavenly Father, who took care of us Himself, through various consecrated Instruments on earth.

Do not obey merely because of obligation, but rather out of the love! God's Mysteries of love is too deep and overwhelming, human mind, heart and spirit cannot grasp and hold. God never makes Himself to be an unreachable God. Like He reached and united Himself with Human Jesus, so too He would unite Himself with us through His Spirit.

For every spiritual mystery, there are basically two forces that empower them. Whom should we fear, praise and glorify. It is the Devil or God who is being worshipped?

Spirits of fear and anxiety are spirits of Darkness and come from its source, no other than the Devil.

Holy fear of God, is a Gift of the Holy Spirit, which would brings us closer to God, be more obedient and submissive to God. This fear is like the fear we experience when we love a person so much that we fear of hurting him/her. This fear is a hopeful and guided fear, of which the Holy Spirit is the Sanctifier (God creates in us a holy heart, like Christ), guidance and teacher.

The God of the human Jesus, who is His Father, is also our God and our Father. He is the Almighty and Powerful God, who created everything seen and unseen. All rules, laws and systems are under His control. Nothing could come into being without His knowledge, which He might will it or allow. Everything He had created is a gift to us. We, are the clay of the earth, which became a sacramental whereby God dwells, in time and creation. In order to understand better the words sacrament or sacramental, we need to ponder on the words of St. Paul, concerning the spirit and human nature.

Spiritual is all the unseen elements, to the physical eyes, whereas the human and all that God provides, in order to adorn the life and survivor, are physical creation of God.

If we technically separate them, we could see that human being's arrival, after the fall of mankind, was like raw gold particles, covered and hidden in the soil of the earth. God is going to pan the gold and cleaned it. The panning and cleansing, is a painful process, for the gold.

The physical and all that we see are temporal staffs, of which were at the mercy of God, good only when 'time', still exists, but not the spiritual. The spiritual elements superseded as far as law is concern. For the spiritual eyes have a clear vision of the physical, but not so for the physical, which veiled us from the spirit.

All our sacramental gestures, words and actions, are meant to draw the physical, into the spiritual, by the will of our souls and spirits, so to give Him the worship that God required from us. The worship of Truth and Spirit, by alienating those sacredness from the sinfulness of creations and human itself.

Our sinful hands cannot produce divine actions,

Our sinful mouth cannot utter words of praise and glory to God,

Our sinful feet cannot walk the path of righteousness, which Christ trotted,

Our sinful eyes cannot see God, like Christ saw,

Our sinful ears cannot hear God's voice, like Christ heard,

Our sinful heart cannot love, like Christ love,

Our sinful mind cannot grasp God's power, which Christ was full of,

Our sinful Souls cannot reach and find God, like Christ has found.

Humanity had failed to give God the highest worship, which He rightfully deserved and we owed this to Him.

Jesus Christ is the Light, to the darkness of our hearts, souls and our minds.

Christ mend the broken link, which Adam and Eve severed, because of their disobedience and sin.

Christ gave Himself over to God, to be the Temple of God, whereby God is enthrone and housed there. All those who became members of this household of God, through baptism by water, desire or blood, would share in what God reserved for His Son Jesus Christ.

It was all because Jesus loves us, that by doing the will of God, all creations would be united with God once more.

By His ransom of blood, He sealed the New and Everlasting Covenant. A knew Covenant, which God in the beginning of creation desired from us, but we failed Him.

Through Jesus Christ, what was once spoil, was made good.

Therefore let all Sacraments, be truly the actions, desires and wills of Christ to draw all man of goodwill, to God the Father.

Let all sacramental, be truly pleasing before God.

Let our lives be truly a Sacrament, in unity with Christ, the source of all Sacramental lives.

Praise the Lord. Amen.
