Who is God in our lives

Who is God in our lives?

Had we, in our hearts and minds put God in the rightful place of which He deserved to be? Or had we degrade Him us our servant to fulfill our whim and fancy?

We can never manipulate God. Only with the right disposition of our hearts can God really and effectively function in our lives.

We can never cheat on God, for He knows our every thought, desires, will, our plans and vision, etc completely inside out.

Had human being consider God as what we consider our friends in our sinful natures?

Had we try to manipulate Him, if we can, as we are so used to treat our friends this way?

Most of us know that there is a Supreme Being that existed and created us but most refused to truly serve and worship, the one whom we owe our very existence.

Service to God must be out of our worship of God, rather then according to the standard and allowance set by the world.

We may pray for more vocation in various ministries in the church, but when our children are called to participate, most would hesitate to surrender their children to the calling. Not unless there are some tangible benefit, if we sincerely search our hearts.

In times of spiritual dilemma and confusion, like if unexplained tragedies, in term of accidents, sickness, death, black-magic and all related phenomenal, that struck their families, many would rather turn to other spiritual forces, then to seek God first above and before others.

Ours is a God who desires our full worship of hearts, minds and our souls.

'Seek God's Kingdom first and all else would be given to us'

This is a very powerful words of Jesus for us. 'Seek God first!' Look for God first. Put Him truly and powerfully first. Let Him be enthroned in our hearts and minds as our Lord and King before all others.

Offered up everything in prayer, before we proceed on with another task. Let Him decide the outcome, so that the fruit would be pleasing to God. The fruit of God's interference may not have immediate positive effect as far as physical is concern, but for all God's action, if received with a grateful heart, would be a great blessing and complement to our souls. In our personal lives God needed to be enthroned as our spiritual and eternal king, the same Lordship and kingship, that Jesus as a man had put the Spirit of the Father and the Son.

We must be able to truly believe and understand that God's wills and laws overrule, the laws of nature and its will. We must be able to know that it had been the spiritual that created the physical.

The spiritual laws and will of God is eternal, but what can be explain by our human minds or can be seen is just temporary. The wisdom that the world hungered and thirsts for is just temporary, for this life on earth only. We needed the wisdom of God to be able to understand and see the magnificent plans and works of God.

Jesus said that, He is going back to the Father's House and prepares rooms for us.

What did Jesus mean by that?

With full knowledge and understanding that our lives in this world are limited only. We awaits the eternal lives that God promised all of us, of which a place with Jesus, if we truly 'put oil in our lamps, and keep it burning till the break of day'.

What is its meaning?

We need to fill this temporary lamp with oil, so that it would continue to shine even though it is very dim, until daylight shine on us.

The oil represents the Holy Spirit. The lamp represents our human flesh. We needed God to pour His Spirit into our human flesh, so that the 'light' of God would shine out. We need, to allow God's Spirit to transform our lives and the lives of others too.

Spiritual vision and sight of God while we are still on earth, by itself is a free gift from God to all who truly seek Him. We would be rewarded with a fuller vision and sight of God when we leave this world and fullest after Final Judgement Day, where mankind's' glorified bodies, together with Jesus, shall sit at the same 'table' and share the same 'house'.

We therefore needed to have our spiritual senses alert, to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. It is God the Spirit, who would leads, brings and sustains us in the Kingdom of God. We cannot say that we worship God, and not the Three Persons in One. God without Jesus, there is no salvation, God without the Holy Spirit, there is no sanctification, holiness, spiritual and physical lives. God without the Father, there is no hope. It was because God had become a Father, after He Begot Jesus Christ to be His Son, then from these two proceed the Holy Spirit.

Even before the descend of Jesus' Spirit of mission, the Holy Spirit existed, before the beginning of time. That is before creation. Creation was the plan and work of God through the action and power of the Holy Spirit. After the fall, God Incarnate, that is Jesus Christ came into being. The role Jesus plays is specifically the salvation of the souls. The Holy Spirit, fully participated in Jesus' plan of salvation, together with God's role as Divine Providence of the spiritual and physical. Jesus Himself, as man was God's most precious and painful Providence. What one man had done, which leads to the fall, the other one man must undo what the first had done. Through, in and with, the power of the Holy Spirit the whole universe and all created things, function in co-ordination and harmony.

The Holy Spirit, given to us, is the fruit of Jesus Passion, death and resurrection. The very purpose of Jesus' coming is to save the world and the preparation in the hearts of God's chosen people for the in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit. Jesus continues His reigns through the Holy Spirit in the world today.

To be able to accept and assimilate the working of the Holy Spirit, we need to live a renewed lives of detachment from our old ways and lives. We need God's strength and courage to detach and pull us out of the deathly ground of which we once received nourishment. We need to die to our sinful lives and let God prepares a new body for us that are suitable for the new ground.

Only through the in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit, which brings about the reign of the Trinity Godhead, then can we truly worship God in Truth and most pleasing to God.

Only then we can make God the true Lord and master of our lives.

The communion between God and man would become a reality for each one of us. This communion is a real life relationship, with our creator.

For by then we will be anointed as servants of one another. The essence of God's love is service, self-denial and putting one another, not only as equal but higher than ourselves.

For Christ came with the essence of His love. He came to serve, the sign of washing one another's feet, during the meal of the Last Supper, had to be carried out and bring it into reality. We are to share the servanthood and service of Christ to others.

By the death of Christ, He had made Himself a servant of God's Children. We therefore needed to do the same in our own ways for others too. The transmission of His love.

Our prayer to God would not be a selfish and self-centered one but rather for the good of the Kingdom of God on earth.

'All things will be given to us!'. Jesus told us to seek God above all things, just like He had done, and other needs that we asked for shall be given to us. Mere human mind would doubt God to fulfill His promise. God is a reality only to those who have faith. Faith is not something we earn, or fruit of mere human knowledge and wisdom. We may know the bible from the first book to the last, yet not able to relate them to our own lives.

The wisest man, according to the world's standard, may not even able to experience the great gift of faith. By faith mankind, would soar like an eagle. Mankind would be able to experience the power and authority of God. Our souls and human spirits, would surge in freedom from the bondage of our physical bodies, toward God.

God's will, needed to be given full authority, without any suppression from our sinful human will, to function accordingly for the good of our souls.

Our pure human will, contradict the sinful human will. For the pure human will always co-operate with God for the good of the souls, whereas the sinful human will always brings the devil into our lives. By our foolish action of which we may not realize, had done great damage to our souls and bodies as well. As Jesus promised that all things will be given to us, we can be assure, that He had every power and authority to fulfill. He only needs our full co-operation and our trust and reliance on Him. Praise the Lord. Amen.

The scenery of the seaside and natures can only be appreciated by nature lovers, so is the Kingdom of heaven, be appreciated by people who truly love God.
