Wee BonnieLee is called "Bitsy Faerie".
Just the other day my 11 year old daughter asked, "Mom, are there any faeries in Hawke's Haven that have glasses and love to read?" "Hmmm" I thought hard about this one. I looked into her questioning eyes (past her glasses) and said, "Well, as with most the wee ones they are sometimes very hard to find, I bet there is one that fits your description well hidden among the trees, deep in the forest probably reading away , lost to the world within the pages of a faerie novel." She looked very happy as she scampered off to bed. The next morning she woke me up squealing  "Momma
Momma! look what I found on the kitchen table!" I said," Ahhh, ya
see sweetie, there REALLY are little faeries with glasses and that love
to read just like you! I found her tucked away deep in a starry mushroom
patch. And as I predicted, she was lost to the world within the pages of
her faerie novel!"
Bitsy Faerie
is sculpted from Polymer clay. As with my daughter this little Bitsy
Faerie loves the color pink and has pink pearlized booties and a pink satin
bow in her hair. She measures 1 3/4" tall. Her wings are
a translucent clay with the same glitter that is on the mushroom
sculpted inside
it. I added a darker picture to show how translucent they are.
She has green glass bead eyes, and green wired "glasses". Her hair is a reddish brown. Her mushroom is also sculpted , with a starred glitter varnished over it and painted underneath , violet. The mushroom measures 1" high. She can either sit on the 'shroom or all by herself. A lot like my daughter when she was younger..., Bitsy also doesn't like to wear clothes.
