Bumble Bee Fairy
"Blushing Bumbelina"

#5 - July 2000

 This Wee BonnieLee is named "Blushing Bumbelina".
She overlooks and cares for all the flowers of  Hawke's Haven, and she is quite serious about her role. She is always VERY busy busy that she has no time for other things. Whenever a Boy Bumble looks at her she blushes, one may have just looked at her judging from the blush on her face.  I personally think the Boy Bumbles are attracted to her rather over portioned ....uhhh... antennae. She is a cute one and what doesn't show in these photos are her adorable freckles.  As you can see by her profile she does, indeed have a pointed nose, it helps her to sniff her flowers better, (so she says).
This Wee BonnieLee is sculpted from polymer clay.  Bumbelina's main colors are Brown and Yellow, becoming of any fashion conscience BumbleBee Fairy.  Other than the hand painted details, she has Big pretty green glass bead eyes. She holds a sprig of flowers.  She is approx. 3 1/2" high (not including antennae) x 5 1/2" long x 4 1/2" wide. Her wings are netting that have been painted and treated with "fairy" dust for sparkle.

Blushing Bumbelina was adopted on August 1, 2000.
