  AWWwww this cute little guy is soooo nervous. You see, every year a resident of Hawke's Haven is chosen to make the star that will sit atop the Hawke's Haven Christmas Tree for all to see.

 Well this year  Maury was chosen to make that star...Oh Goodness!!  He has no idea why such a quiet little fairy would be chosen for such a big honor. He isn't sure which he is more nervous about...will his star be a big hit ???? or will he fall off the dragon that will fly him to the top of the tree ????!!!!  He is frozen in his spot just staring up at the tree top. Oh myyyy.
  Well we will keep our fingers crossed for him, he will be just fine once his heart beat stops pounding in his ears and his knees stop knocking.

   Maurie is dressed in dark metallic red and dark metallic green (the pictures don't do it justice). He has bells on each tip of his feet and on the tip of his hat. he has red feather hair. Dark Green glass bead eyes. His face has painted details, which does not show too well in the pictures. His wings are net treated with a light red and "fairy" dust. The star is painted wood with a light red and a lot of "fairy" dust..In the center is a silver and gold star with a "diamond" rhinestone in the middle of it. The star is not attached to his hands, it lays in them.
 He stands about  4 1/4"
Maurie  is sculpted from polymer clay. As with all my wee ones, no molds are used.
