Requirement

On Road - Good on road manners, tall ratio for road / motorway driving - essential with a V8. Ability to tow. Station wagon format (opening rear windows) for the canine contingent. .

Life expectancy of 10 Years - The previous 110CSW lasted 10 years!

Must be able to tow a balloon trailer to France, do a weeks work and come home without making a fuss!, Reliability is a must.

Off Road - capable for play days and Tyro's, all vunerable parts to be protected. Suspension mods not to detract from on road handling.
Dedicated off Road Tyres.

Result

A chassis up re-build on a 90, using the old 110 as a donor of many newish parts - ie, rust free bulkhead and doors.
TVR V8 (350i) Injection replaced with Edelbrock 500 Carb, Offenhouser 360 inlet & Edelbrock air filter.
Landrover 110 V8 front timing cover with shortened waterpump.
3.9 Range Rover dizzy  & custom womblesport wiring.
Rimmer Bros Stainless tubular sports system.
RR 3.9 oil cooler assembly mated to TD radiator & twin Kenlowe fans - Kenlowe thermostat thrown in skip - replaced with adjustable solid state type from Scorpion Racing.
Custom High Output Alternator
Autosparks engine loom.

Camshaft Unknown - To be replaced later in 2009 
Most Edelbrock Carbs sold in the UK are not jetted for Rover V8 and must be re-jetted to prevent engine damage. Over rich running will result in bore wash!     
The TVR is running the following set up.

The engine coupled to V8 LT77 long stick (early RR) and Disco 1.222 transfer box.
