Travels with My Camera
The Western Sahara (rich in mineral wealth) was a nation annexed in the 60's by Morrocco. For a generation the saharawi have been exiled to live in refugee camps in the Algerian desert. In addition to the noble aid work of the UN, UNHCR a number of groups actively support the saharawi and the cause of the Polisari Liberation front in the fight for Freedom.
Unfortunately the only access to the refugee camps is through Algeria, and the cause is not seen as popular due to the west's reliance on Morrocco in the fight against global terrorism.
