I was born in bonny granite city of Aberdeen Scotland. My family moved to Forfar when I was about 8 years old. Forfar is the county seat of Angus nestled in the very fertile Strathmore valley.
All through my childhood I loved music and singing and sang in local festivals, solo and with a local singing group called the Linnets. Later joining the Forfar Amateur Operatic Society, doing Pantomimes and Musicals. Great fun!!!!!
After leaving school, I went to study to become a nurse at Stracathro College of Nursing located about 15 miles away from Forfar just outside of Brechin. That hospital was near R.A.F. Edzell . Although a British Air Force Base during WW11 it is now used by American Servicemen,Marines, Airforce and Sailors...... .Sadly the base closed down in 1998.
Both my children Corey and Stephanie were born in Dundee Scotland. They too call Scotland home !
