Mediocre All Around
Home
There is a theme throguhout this movie, 'you're good the way you are,' That is a good lesson to teach kids and is good in this movie. A young robot moves to the big city where he wants a job as an inventor. The company where he wants a job is at Bigwell Industries which is now run by an evil robot who wants to get rid of all the outdated robots and make them all perfect.
The plot is not very interseting but the movie makes sense and the plot isn't too boring. The jokes aren't funny, the movie is aimed at very small kids. Something that is aimed at small kids is the extended fart scene that lasts for about a minute.
There are a lot of touchy-feely moments in Robots, the gang wants to fight the evil Bigwell company so that they can save the main character's (Rudy) dad. Of course they will succeed and it will make you feel very good when you leave the theatre.
Robts is not a bad movie, it just isn't very good. There is nothing special about it, it is just extremely mediocre. The jokes aren't really funny and the plot isn't that interesting. A movie you should see though is The Incredibles. This is a great movie that is good for all ages.
