| On February 27, we found out whether a blind pianist, a pilot, a boxer, a couple of friends or an author will be honored by winning Best Picture at the Academy Awards in Los Angeles. Who won Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Director or the coveted Best Picture award tonight? With my limited knowledge, I will present the winners in those six categories. Jamie Foxx won Best Actor for his performance in Ray as Ray Charles, the famous blind pianist. |

| The award for Best Actress wasl taken home by Hilary Swank for Million Dollar Baby and Best Supporting Actor went to Morgan Freeman who appeared in the same film. Best Supporting Actress went to Cate Blanchett who was in The Aviator. The Best Director was won by Clint Eastwood who directed Million Dollar Baby. The biggest award of the night was won by the boxer, Million Dollar Baby, a tearjerker directed by Clint Eastwood. To every winner, congrats! -Written by Jesse |
