Singer/songwriter Ryan Adams gives modern rock a 1970’s feel. With his dynamic abilities, he can play geat rock songs like “This is It” , or he can play a genle, acoustic song, such as “Desire”. Ryan Adams grew up in a family devoted to country music. However, he always took a paticular liking for punk rock. Adams formed the band Whiskeytown in 1994, hoping to bring together his appreciation of country and pop. By 1999, the band al went their eperate ways after years of different members filling in open gaps. Shortly after, Adams released hos own album, Heartbreaker. In 2001, Adam’s gained more radio airplay with the release of his album, Gold. The first track on the CD was titled New York, New York after the September 11 attacks. People embraced the songs in the tough times, and Adam’s perhaps reached the peak of his carreer, receiving rave reviews and appering on Saturday Night Live. Since then, Adam’s has released albums Demolition, Rock and Roll, and Love is Hell. Any fan of true rock should have a Ryan Adam’s disc on their shelf. -Written by Mike |
