It has never happened before but it happened this weekend, three of the four Elite Eight games went to overtime. Kentucky - Michigan State went to double overtime with a controversial 3 pointer by Patrick Sparks. On Thursday and Friday, Arizona upset my winner, Oklahoma State and Michigan State downed the number one seeded Duke Blue Devils. Also, Louisville upset another number one, Washington and West Virginia beat the sixth seeded Texas Tech Red Raiders.
The Elite Eight was extremely exciting, West Virginia lost to Louisville in OT after Louisville

erased a 20 point deficit. Also on Saturday, Illinois beat Arizona in another overtime thriller. On Sunday, North Carolina easily beat Wisconsin and Michigan State beat Kentucky in the game of the week that went to double overtime.
The Final Four will feature Louisville, Illinois, North Carolina and Michigan State. The better game out of the two is Louisville vs. Illinois. Illinois is the overall number one and probably the best team in the tournament while Louisville is extremely underrated. Louisville should've gotten a higher seed but they've proven themselves throughout the tournament. Don't be at all surprised if Louisville makes it to the final game.
The other game features Michigan State and North Carolina. UNC has been the only dominant team throghout the tournament and although Michigan State is a very good team, North Carolina will march on. The final game will feature North Carolina and Louisville, two great coaches facing each other, Roy Williams and Rick Pitino.
This has been a great tournament with many upsets throughout. This final weekend should be no different, every team has a good chance at winning the whole thing.
