upsets. Numbedr 14 Bucknell upset Number 3 Kansas and Number 13 Vermont beat Number 4 Syracuse. Three of the four Elite Eight games went to overtime and in two of them, a team came back from more than 15 down.
This season was great and will be remembered for many years. Although Illinois had only one loss this season, they couldn't stop Sean May inside and North Carolina cruised to a victory. West Virginia was another surprise team this year, the Mountaineers made it to the Big East Championship and to the Elitle Eight.
As is the case every year, many seniors are leaving and a lot of underclassmen are going to try the NBA. Who knows what next year will hold? Every year, the powerhouse schools dominate and every year there are many surprise teams. This is a great sport and this past year is one to remember.
