Arsenal Lures Aghahowa with 13 million Pounds

Super Eagles striker in the just concluded Korea/Japan World Cup Julius Aghahowa has been offered 13 million pounds to lace boots for the English Premier club Arsenal. Aghahowa currently plays for an Ukrainean club shaktar Donetsk that has been reluctant to release the striker since he started playing for them two seasons ago.

Aghahowa whose contract may take effect in a forth night, has expressed his desire to play for Arsenal. He is said to be eager to leave the Ukrainean club Shaktar Donetsk for reasons of language and climate. Meanwhile, Arsenal presently engages the services of the 1996 Atlanta Olympic gold-winning striker, Kano Nwankwo. Frenchman Arsene Wenger coach of Arsenal has expressed his willingness to let go of the lanky striker to any interested club.
